The company reported consolidated revenue of ₹521 crores, up 11.9% YoY, and Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹70 crores, a 6.1% increase. Gear Division Performance

The Gear Division’s revenue grew by 16.3% YoY to ₹416 crores, with EBIT increasing 14.7% to ₹75 crores. The EBIT margin remained resilient at 17.9%, reflecting disciplined cost management despite an increase in input costs. The Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Division witnessed a marginal degrowth in revenue of 2.9% on a YoY basis, primarily due to temporary softness in project execution. Order intake increased 38.1% YoY to ₹185 crores, while the open order book rose 18.8% YoY to ₹475 crores.

Commenting on the results, Shri Prayasvin B. Patel, Chairman & Managing Director of Elecon Engineering Company Ltd. said, “Q1 FY27 marked another quarter of resilient performance for Elecon, with consolidated revenue of ₹521 crores, EBITDA of ₹109 crores, and an EBITDA margin of 21.0%. Elecon posts a 22.1% three-month gain, but softens in the last few weeks. The PEG of 2.64 makes it expensive versus peers. The premium needs earnings to catch up quickly. Revenue consistency is the one bright spot — zero dips in five years shows operational resilience. The stock gives back 3.9% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. Revenue grows at 15.9% and the stock moves sideways over three months. Neither side makes a strong case. The next earnings print will likely break this stock out of its current range. Check Fundamentals of Elecon Engineering Company Limited.
