Crizac Limited Q1 FY27: Total Income ₹2,084 Mn, PAT Up 2.9%
Crizac Limited reports Q1 FY27 results with total income ₹2,084 Mn, a 4.0% YoY decline, and PAT up 2.9%. Key metrics and strategic acquisitions.
Crizac Limited, a premier global technology-driven international student recruitment platform, announced its Q1 FY27 results today. Despite a 4.0% YoY decline in total income to ₹2,084 million, the company demonstrated resilience with a 2.9% YoY increase in PAT to ₹471 million. EBITDA stood at ₹600 million, with a margin of 29.8%. Commenting on the results, Mr. Vikash Agarwal, Managing Director, Crizac Limited, said, “Q1 FY27 demonstrated the resilience of Crizac Limited’s platform-led model. Total income was lower than the ₹3,986 million reported in Q4 FY26, in line with the pronounced seasonality of our business, with Q4 being the peak intake quarter and Q1 being the seasonal trough.
Strategic Acquisitions
In June 2026, we made a strategic investment in ForeignAdmits, an AI-led student mobility platform, extending our reach into education financing and visa preparation. Subsequent to quarter-end, in July 2026, we acquired 100% of Inova Consultancy Limited, strengthening our university partnerships across the UK and Europe, extending our presence into Mexico, and marking our entry into the Netherlands as a new destination market. These transactions build on our earlier expansions and reflect our consistent strategy of using targeted acquisitions to compress timelines for geographic entry and capability build-out.
Forward-Looking Statement
We are clear-eyed about the near-term headwinds from evolving visa policies and currency movements, and expect volume trends to remain policy-sensitive over the coming quarters. Notwithstanding these headwinds, long-term structural demand for quality international education remains strong, underpinned by growing aspirations across India, Africa, and wider Asia, and by India’s emergence as the largest source market in several key destinations. We are well-positioned to capture this opportunity through our diversified presence across 85+ source countries and 12 destination markets, our expanding ancillary revenue layer, platform scalability, and continued focus on resilient organic as well as inorganic growth.

Fundamental & Technical Analysis of Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited
Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited belongs to the Consumer Defensive › Beverages – Brewers sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
Som rises 12.9% over three months, with buying pressure holding steady. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. No meaningful dividend — total return is entirely dependent on capital appreciation. The stock sits at 16% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 14.2% CAGR and the PEG stands at 99.00. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Furthermore, flat price action adds no technical catalyst. A lower price or faster revenue growth would improve the odds. Varun Beverages Limited Q3 & 9M Cy2026: Sales Volumes Surge, Revenue and Ebitda Grow
Varun Beverages Limited (VBL) reports a strong Q3 & 9M CY2026 performance with sales volumes up 28.7%, revenue up 33.2%, and EBITDA up 25.1%.
Varun Beverages Limited (VBL) has reported an impressive performance for the third quarter and the first nine months of FY2026. Consolidated sales volumes grew by 28.7%, with a notable 22.5% increase in India and 39.9% in international territories. Revenue from operations surged by 33.2% year-on-year to Rs. 66,075.6 million, while EBITDA expanded by 25.1% to Rs. 14,267.1 million.
Strong Domestic and International Growth
Higher packaging costs impacted margins during the quarter, but improved realizations and operating leverage from robust volume growth helped mitigate these pressures. In India, the company continued to see healthy volume growth, driven by its extensive distribution network, expanded manufacturing capacities, and investments in chilling infrastructure. The introduction of premium offerings, including ‘Ad Rush’ and the ‘Evervess’ mixers range, also contributed to the growth.
Strategic Expansions and New Ventures
Internationally, Africa remained a key continent for expansion. The merger of Twizza with BevCo, completed on August 1, 2026, is expected to unlock significant operational synergies. Additionally, VBL has initiated beverage operations in Kenya and introduced two new brands, ‘BOLT UP’ and ‘XTREME FIZZ’, to strengthen its footprint in the fast-growing African market. An exclusive distribution agreement with Mondelez in Zimbabwe further broadened the company’s product offerings.
Diversification and Future Outlook
The company also incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary, KIVA Spirits and Company Limited, to explore opportunities in ready-to-drink beverages, alcoholic beverages, and allied products. The focus will remain on driving growth across existing markets with the investments made over recent years, while selectively pursuing opportunities to broaden the business and maintain profitability and long-term value creation.
