Aartech Solonics Limited Aartech Q4 FY26: Energy Storage Mou

Aartech Solonics Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, Faradigm Ultracapacitors Pvt. Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shenzhen Titan Smart Energy Technology Co. Ltd. to explore strategic cooperation in advanced energy storage solutions and the development of localized manufacturing and assembly capabilities in India. The proposed collaboration will bring together Titan’s expertise in energy storage technology and manufacturing with Faradigm and Aartech’s industry experience, market presence, and planned manufacturing infrastructure in India.

Strategic Collaboration

The initiative is aimed at exploring solutions suited to the growing requirements of commercial, industrial, and other energy storage applications in the country. A key enabler of this vision is FaraDigm’s upcoming manufacturing facility at the Renewable Energy Manufacturing Cluster at Mohasa-Babai, Madhya Pradesh, which is planned to commence operations in FY 2027–28. The facility is expected to strengthen the company’s capabilities in advanced energy technologies and support the development of energy storage solutions and localized manufacturing opportunities in India.

Focus on LFP-based BESS

The proposed cooperation will initially focus on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP)-based Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), covering capacities from 100 kWh to 5 MWh, including Commercial and Industrial (C&I) energy storage applications and integrated hybrid solutions combining solar power, diesel generators, and battery storage. Plans to enter into Utility Scale projects are currently under review. The partnership will explore manufacturing and technology licensing opportunities with the objective of addressing India’s growing demand for reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy storage solutions.

Driven by plummeting lithium-ion costs and stringent green mandates, India’s Commercial and Industrial (C&I) BESS opportunity is transitioning from a sub-1 GWh base in 2025 to a massive 22–31 GWh projected capacity by 2032, capturing a sub-market CAGR of 36.2% (contributing heavily to a broader national sector projected to grow at a 91% CAGR up to 302 GWh by FY32). Aartech Solonics Limited’s participation in the MP Solar + Storage Expo 2026 further reflects the company’s interest in understanding emerging technologies and exploring opportunities in the energy storage sector.
