Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited Sanduma Expansion October 2026

Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited (SMIORE or ‘the Company’), the flagship company of the Royal Sandur Group, has taken a decisive step towards its foray into the Medical Devices and Consumables business. Royal Sandur MedTech Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has taken land on a long-term lease at the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (‘AMTZ’), Visakhapatnam, India’s premier medical technology park with common manufacturing facilities and scientific facilities.

Strategic Move for Diversification

The lease deed was executed on 19 October 2026 between Royal Sandur MedTech Private Limited and Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone Limited, the Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking that owns and operates AMTZ, for setting up a manufacturing unit at AMTZ. This marks a concrete move by SMIORE towards new frontiers, as part of its comprehensive diversification strategy.

Key Terms of the Land Lease

Royal Sandur MedTech Private Limited has also taken office space at World Trade Center AMTZ to support project development. Key terms of the land lease are as follows: Developed land measuring 6.2 acres (about 25,090 square metres), with road, power, water and effluent infrastructure provided by AMTZ. Lease tenure of 33 years from the date of execution, with an exclusive right to convert the leasehold rights into freehold ownership after 10 years from the date of commissioning of business.

Future Plans

Further details on the capital expenditure plans and project timelines will be announced in due course. Commenting on the development, Bahirji A. Ghorpade, Managing Director, SMIORE, said: “Our diversification strategy is about building new engines of growth alongside our core mining and metals businesses. Medical Devices and Consumables sector offers considerable opportunities for domestic manufacturing to grow, and the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone, with its common manufacturing and scientific facilities, gives a new entrant the right platform to build capabilities in a focused and capital-efficient manner. Securing this land is the first concrete step in this journey, and we intend to pursue it with the same discipline that has defined our enterprise over seven decades.”

Sandur falls 10.8% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG of 0.35 is extremely low. Either the market misses the growth story, or there is a catch worth investigating. Revenue grows at 33.5% and profits at 34.3% CAGR. Both numbers are exceptional. The stock sits at 4% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 33.5% and profits at 34.3% CAGR, with D/E of 0.00. Meanwhile, the stock dips 10.8% in three months without any fundamental deterioration. Consequently, the stock quietly becomes cheaper relative to earnings power. Bansal drops 80.3% over three months and trades near its 52-week lows. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. The business compounds revenue at 19.8% and profits at 39.0% CAGR. That is strong double-digit growth on both counts. RSI stands at 8, well into oversold territory. Yet sellers still dominated on 18 of recent sessions versus 11 for buyers, so the pressure has not fully lifted. The business compounds at 19.8% revenue and 39.0% profit CAGR, with D/E of 0.48. Yet the stock drops 80.3% in three months. The business does not deteriorate — the stock does. That gap is what long-term investors look for. Check Fundamentals of Bansal Wire Industries Limited.

Garware Hi-tech Films Limited Grwrhitech Q2 FY27 Results

Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited (GHFL), a global manufacturer of Solar Control Films, Paint Protection Films, and other Specialty Films, announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026. The company delivered record-breaking performance in Q2 FY27, with revenue from operations reaching a record ₹696 crore, registering 22% year-on-year (YoY) and 10% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth.

Strong Operating Performance

The robust demand and improved realizations across product segments, despite slowdown in the Middle East amid the ongoing conflict, contributed to the strong performance. The EBITDA increased 42% YoY to INR 189 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding by 377 basis points to 27.2% from 23.4% in Q2 FY26. The improvement was driven by operating leverage and a favorable product mix, which helped offset higher raw material and logistics costs.

Cash and cash equivalents stood at INR 933 crore as of September 30, 2026, with working capital days at 29 days, reflecting prudent inventory management and disciplined control over receivables and payables as revenue scales.

Commenting on the results, Dr. S. B. Garware, Chairman and Managing Director, GHFL said: “We have delivered an exceptional performance despite significant headwinds, and we remain focused on sustainable growth and creating long-term value.” Ms. Monika Garware, Vice Chairperson and Joint Managing Director, GHFL added, “We have delivered a strong performance in Q2 and H1 FY27, achieving record quarterly revenue alongside significant growth in profitability. Our H1 EBITDA margin of 28.7%, well above our guidance range of 23%-27%, reflects the strength of our business model, a favorable product mix, continued operational efficiencies, and an enhanced focus on niche products.”

Garware holds in the upper half of its 52-week range, a sign the market backs the stock. Revenue grows at 14.0% and profits at 26.7% CAGR. The market consistently rewards this kind of compounding. Not a single revenue dip or loss quarter in five years — this is a business built to last through cycles. The stock gains 8.4% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. The business grows revenue at 14.0% and profits at 26.7%, with D/E of 0.00. The stock reflects that strength. Moreover, when fundamentals and price action align, the PEG of 1.56 premium is usually justified. Check Fundamentals of Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited.

Gallantt moves sideways over three months, with neither buyers nor sellers taking control. The PEG of 0.79 signals undervaluation relative to growth. It is a potential re-rating candidate. Thin margins at 9.8% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. The stock gains 16.1% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. Both the business and the stock move in the right direction. Revenue grows at 34.0%, profits at 43.0%, and the PEG sits at 0.79 — below its growth rate. That combination is rare. Check Fundamentals of Gallantt Ispat Limited.
