Garware Hi-tech Films Limited Grwrhitech Q2 FY27 Results

Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited (GHFL), a global manufacturer of Solar Control Films, Paint Protection Films, and other Specialty Films, announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026. The company delivered record-breaking performance in Q2 FY27, with revenue from operations reaching a record ₹696 crore, registering 22% year-on-year (YoY) and 10% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth.

Strong Operating Performance

The robust demand and improved realizations across product segments, despite slowdown in the Middle East amid the ongoing conflict, contributed to the strong performance. The EBITDA increased 42% YoY to INR 189 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding by 377 basis points to 27.2% from 23.4% in Q2 FY26. The improvement was driven by operating leverage and a favorable product mix, which helped offset higher raw material and logistics costs.

Robust Earnings Growth

PAT increased 42% YoY to INR 129 crore, with PAT margin expanding to 18.6% from 16.0% in Q2 FY26, reflecting improved operational performance and profitability. Cash and cash equivalents stood at INR 933 crore as of September 30, 2026, with working capital days at 29 days, reflecting prudent inventory management and disciplined control over receivables and payables as revenue scales.

Commenting on the results, Dr. S. B. Garware, Chairman and Managing Director, GHFL said: “We have delivered an exceptional performance despite significant headwinds, and we remain focused on sustainable growth and creating long-term value.” Ms. Monika Garware, Vice Chairperson and Joint Managing Director, GHFL added, “We have delivered a strong performance in Q2 and H1 FY27, achieving record quarterly revenue alongside significant growth in profitability. Our H1 EBITDA margin of 28.7%, well above our guidance range of 23%-27%, reflects the strength of our business model, a favorable product mix, continued operational efficiencies, and an enhanced focus on niche products.”

Garware holds in the upper half of its 52-week range, a sign the market backs the stock. Revenue grows at 14.0% and profits at 26.7% CAGR. The market consistently rewards this kind of compounding. Not a single revenue dip or loss quarter in five years — this is a business built to last through cycles. The stock gains 8.4% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. The business grows revenue at 14.0% and profits at 26.7%, with D/E of 0.00. The stock reflects that strength. Moreover, when fundamentals and price action align, the PEG of 1.56 premium is usually justified. Check Fundamentals of Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited.

JINDAL posts a 2.0% three-month gain, but softens in the last few weeks. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. Revenue contracts at -13.1% CAGR. That signals structural headwinds, not a short-term blip. The stock gives back 5.2% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. Revenue grows at -13.1% yet the PEG reaches 99.00 — expensive for that growth. Furthermore, the stock drops 2.0% in three months. Neither value nor momentum supports this setup. It needs an earnings beat or a price reset first. Check Fundamentals of JINDAL STEEL LIMITED.

SHREE drops 15.3% over three months and trades near its 52-week lows. The PEG stands at 4.48 — severely stretched. Any earnings miss could trigger a sharp de-rating. Thin margins at 7.4% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. Sellers drive 2.0x the volume of buyers. Furthermore, they controlled 18 of recent sessions versus 12 for buyers — a clear distribution signal. Revenue grows at 5.7% CAGR — a respectable pace. However, the stock drops 15.3% in three months without an obvious fundamental trigger. Sector-wide pressure or a valuation re-rating can persist for longer than expected. Therefore, there is no rush to step in. Check Fundamentals of SHREE CEMENT LIMITED.
