Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) breaks below support, falling 5% to ₹412.0 on the NSE on 25 Jun 2026. The stock moved due to breaking below the 6-month support trendline, which previously stood at ₹422.16. MIDHANI, a key player in the steel sector within basic materials, saw this move despite positive sector momentum, indicating a company-specific reaction rather than broader industry trends.
Technical setup — trendlines & DMA
Currently, MIDHANI is trading below its 6-month support trendline, which ended at ₹422.16, marking a 2.47% drop from this level. Resistance is noted at ₹468.92, which is 13.82% above the current price. Snapshot: ₹412.00 on 2026-06-25 (chart frozen at publication)
Fundamentals & business context
With a PE ratio of 62.1, MIDHANI’s valuation appears stretched given its profit margin of 10.9% and a revenue CAGR of 11.6%. This suggests the market might be pricing in expectations of a turnaround or future growth, despite current earnings. Institutional ownership stands at 8.0%, indicating a cautious approach by smart money, possibly due to the company’s declining profit CAGR of -5.6% over the past five years. There was no NSE catalyst today to explain the move.
Algorithmic scorecard
MIDHANI’s overall score reflects a technically strong but fundamentally weaker profile. The strongest signals include a bullish trend, with the 50-DMA above the 200-DMA, and very low debt levels, indicating excellent financial health. These factors suggest a stable and potentially undervalued stock from a technical perspective. However, the weakest signals are the declining profit CAGR and negligible dividend yield, which pose risks to long-term value creation and income generation for investors.
Company outlook
MIDHANI’s management has outlined an optimistic forward guidance, expecting a 15% increase in top line year-on-year and a corresponding 20% increase in the bottom line. EBITDA margins are projected to be around 24% to 25%. The company anticipates a 10% to 15% reduction in opening inventories and good orders for ABHED bulletproof jackets. Additionally, the fastener plant is expected to contribute an order book of INR20 crores to INR30 crores per year. Strategic plans include a capex of around INR1,000 crores over the next three years and booking about INR1,500 crores worth of orders in FY ’26-’27.

Fundamental & Technical Analysis of Bharat Coking Coal Limited
Bharat Coking Coal Limited belongs to the Basic Materials › Coking Coal sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
Bharat drops 20.9% over three months and trades near its 52-week lows. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. 2 loss quarter(s) over five years signals earnings fragility — not chronic but worth noting. The stock sits at 15% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 3.4% CAGR and the PEG stands at 99.00. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Furthermore, flat price action adds no technical catalyst. A lower price or faster revenue growth would improve the odds. Check Fundamentals of Bharat Coking Coal Limited.
