Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited Q1 FY27 Business Update

Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited (BSE: 539056; NSE: IMAGICAA), India’s largest Amusement & Water Park player, announced its quarterly business update for the quarter ending June 30th, 2026. The company witnessed a strong start to FY27, with Q1 footfalls recording healthy year-on-year growth of 22%.

Footfalls Performance

During the quarter, footfalls stood at 11.54 lakhs, compared to 9.46 lakhs in the same period last year. Despite intense summer conditions and prolonged heatwaves, the company managed to grow its visitor numbers significantly.

Novotel Imagicaa Occupancy

Novotel Imagicaa’s occupancy rate stood at 63% compared to 65% in the same period last year. The hotel continued to witness healthy occupancy, supported by the school vacation season, destination weddings, corporate events, and strong demand from guests visiting Imagicaa parks.

During the quarter, Imagicaa Water Park, Khopoli, remained temporarily closed from June 19, 2025, to June 25, 2025, pursuant to directions from the Irrigation Department, Government of Maharashtra, restricting withdrawal of water from the dams due to low reservoir levels arising from prevailing El Niño conditions. As the closure occurred after the peak operating season for the Water Park, the estimated revenue impact was limited to approximately ₹50 lakh.

The company continued to make steady progress on its strategic growth initiatives. It is in the final stages of concluding the transaction for Shanku’s Water Park, under which Imagicaa will partner with the existing owners to expand the park’s offerings while undertaking the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of the business and earning management fees. This asset-light arrangement is expected to strengthen the company’s presence in the Gujarat region while generating a recurring, fee-based revenue stream.

Further, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Imagicaa Next Private Limited (INPL), signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the second Hello Park location at Phoenix Mall’s upcoming development in Surat. The proposed indoor entertainment centre will span approximately 9,000 sq. ft., further expanding the company’s footprint in the family entertainment segment. Construction and fit-out activities for the first Hello Park at Hyderabad are progressing as planned, with commercial operations expected to commence within Q3 FY27. These initiatives reflect the company’s continued focus on expanding its portfolio through capital-efficient formats and diversifying its revenue streams.

The quarterly business update is on a consolidated basis. The financial results of Q1 FY27 are subject to review by Auditors.

Imagicaaworld moves sideways over three months, with neither buyers nor sellers taking control. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. No meaningful dividend — total return is entirely dependent on capital appreciation. The stock holds at 34% of its 52-week range with RSI at 53. In other words, neither side has a clear edge right now. Revenue grows at 16.2% CAGR and the PEG stands at 99.00. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Tips holds in the upper half of its 52-week range, a sign the market backs the stock. Industry-leading margins of 54.5% reflect exceptional pricing power and operational efficiency. Revenue grows at 26.2% and profits at 41.5% CAGR. Both numbers are exceptional. Buyers show up with 1.8x the volume of sellers. Moreover, they dominated on 17 of recent sessions versus 13 for sellers — a healthy accumulation pattern. Both the business and the stock move in the right direction. Revenue grows at 26.2%, profits at 41.5%, and the PEG sits at 1.07 — below its growth rate. That combination is rare. Check Fundamentals of Tips Music Limited.
