The Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) stood at INR 123.69 crores, a 21.42% increase year-on-year. The EBITDA margin improved to 11.41%. The company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter was INR 67.02 crores, reflecting a robust 34.34% growth compared to the same period last year. Management Comments

Commenting on the company’s performance, Mr. Vikram Mohan, Chairman & Managing Director, noted, “While the company continued to deliver positive growth, profitability remained under pressure during the period. The increase in raw material prices, inventory holding costs, and freight expenses, together with the depreciation of the Indian rupee, adversely impacted margins. Although we have initiated cost-optimisation, productivity, and pricing interventions, only a portion of these additional costs is recoverable from our customers typically with a lag of three to six months. Consequently, these pressures are expected to continue to weigh on near-term profitability. The broader operating environment also remains volatile, given ongoing geopolitical developments and disruptions across global trade and supply chains. We remain focused on maintaining business continuity, exercising cost discipline, and improving operational efficiency, while continuing to invest strategically in innovation, manufacturing capabilities, and customer engagement.”

Pricol gains 18.9% over three months and trades near its 52-week highs. Thin margins at 6.2% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. Revenue grows at 27.7% and profits at 26.2% CAGR. Both numbers are exceptional. RSI hits 74, a level that signals the stock runs hot. Notably, buyers drove volume on 16 recent sessions — though at these levels, some profit-taking is normal. Both the business and the stock move in the right direction. Revenue grows at 27.7%, profits at 26.2%, and the PEG sits at 1.27 — below its growth rate. That combination is rare. Check Fundamentals of Pricol Limited.

Wheels India Limited Wheels Q2 FY27 Net Profit

Wheels India Limited (WHEELS) has reported a notable increase in its net profit for the second quarter of FY27, reaching Rs. 53.4 crores, compared to Rs. 27.8 crores in the same period last year. This significant growth is accompanied by a 36% rise in revenues, which now stand at Rs. 1,598 crores, up from Rs. 1,179 crores in the corresponding quarter of FY26.

Revenue Growth

The company’s revenue has surged due to strong sales in earthmover wheels, air suspension systems, and robust demand from the domestic markets for cars, trucks, and tractors. Moreover, export revenues have also seen a positive trend, growing to Rs. 388 crores in Q2 FY27 compared to Rs. 299 crores in the same quarter last year.

Fund Raising and Debt Reduction

Wheels India has successfully raised funds totaling Rs. 430 crores during Q2 FY27, with Rs. 180 crores through a preferential issue and Rs. 250 crores through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP). These funds were strategically utilized for debt reduction, which was completed by the end of September 2026.

Srivats Ram, Chairman and Managing Director of Wheels India, commented on the performance, stating, “The second quarter saw strong sales growth coming from earthmover wheels, air suspension, and the domestic Indian markets for cars, trucks, and tractors.” Looking ahead, Srivats noted, “In the second half, inflation is a concern. Growth will also be affected by a higher base effect arising out of GST 2.0 demand push that we benefited from in H2 last year.”

Wheels gains 66.6% over three months and trades near its 52-week highs. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. The PEG of 0.90 signals undervaluation relative to growth. It is a potential re-rating candidate. Buyers show up with 2.5x the volume of sellers. Moreover, they dominated on 16 of recent sessions versus 14 for sellers — a healthy accumulation pattern. Both the business and the stock move in the right direction. Revenue grows at 5.9%, profits at 41.0%, and the PEG sits at 0.90 — below its growth rate. That combination is rare. Check Fundamentals of Wheels India Limited.

Schaeffler falls 11.5% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG stands at 4.87 — severely stretched. Any earnings miss could trigger a sharp de-rating. Revenue consistency is the one bright spot — zero dips in five years shows operational resilience. The stock sits at 16% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 12.3% CAGR — a respectable pace. However, the stock drops 11.5% in three months without an obvious fundamental trigger. Sector-wide pressure or a valuation re-rating can persist for longer than expected.
