Csm Technologies Limited Wins Trademark Africa Mandate for Beira Corridor
CSM Technologies Limited secures a US$174,000 mandate from TradeMark Africa to develop a digital platform for real-time trade and transport monitoring in Moz.
CSM Technologies Limited, a multinational GovTech company, has secured a US$174,000 (approximately ₹1.65 crore) mandate from TradeMark Africa (TMA) for the design, development, and deployment of the Mozambique Transport and Trade Observatory (TTO) for the Beira Corridor. This project aims to create a centralized digital platform to provide corridor authorities and stakeholders with near real-time visibility into cargo movement, transport performance, delays, bottlenecks, and other trade indicators.
Strategic Importance of the Beira Corridor
The Beira Corridor is a vital trade route connecting the Port of Beira in Mozambique with Zimbabwe and extending trade links to Malawi, Zambia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Efficient access to regional and international markets is crucial for land-linked economies. The new Observatory will address the need for better data and visibility, as highlighted by a TMA-supported diagnostic study conducted in March 2026.
Features of the Digital Platform
CSM Tech Limited will design and deploy a secure, web-based, and microservices-oriented platform featuring interactive KPI dashboards, GIS-based corridor mapping, automated alerts, reporting, and data analytics. The system will integrate priority information from port, road, rail, customs, and other relevant trade and transport systems across Mozambique and neighboring countries. A centralized data warehouse, supported by a four-stage data validation workflow, will help improve the reliability and consistency of information available to corridor stakeholders.
Commenting on the engagement, Priyadarshi Pany, Managing Director & CEO, CSM Technologies Limited, said: “The Beira Corridor is a vital economic artery for Southern Africa, and its efficiency depends increasingly on the quality and timeliness of information available to decision-makers. We are privileged to partner with TradeMark Africa on the Transport and Trade Observatory and to bring our GovTech experience to a platform that can provide corridor institutions with a shared, data-driven view of how trade moves. Our objective is to make complex trade and transport data actionable, helping stakeholders identify bottlenecks earlier, strengthen coordination, and make evidence-based decisions.”
The assignment comes at a time when African governments and regional institutions are placing greater emphasis on digital trade facilitation and data-driven corridor management. The Beira Corridor project represents another step in the internationalization of Indian-built GovTech capabilities, demonstrating how digital platforms developed from India’s experience in large-scale public-sector transformation can be adapted to address complex governance, trade, and infrastructure challenges in emerging economies.

Csm Technologies Limited (NSE: CSM) Strengthens Digital Identity Capabilities with MOSIP Adoption
CSM Technologies Limited (NSE: CSM) adopts MOSIP to enhance digital identity capabilities, expanding its GovTech solutions portfolio.
CSM Technologies Limited (NSE: CSM), a multinational GovTech company, has adopted the Modular Open Source Identity Platform (MOSIP) to bolster its digital identity capabilities. The adoption of MOSIP is a key initiative to build secure, scalable, and interoperable digital identity systems, aligning with the company’s mission to deliver secure and technology-driven digital ecosystems.
Enhanced Digital Identity Solutions
MOSIP’s modular and vendor-neutral architecture allows governments to configure identity ecosystems around their specific policy, governance, technology, and service-delivery requirements. This flexibility enables CSM Technologies to design, integrate, customize, and implement MOSIP-based identity solutions, thereby enhancing its ability to pursue opportunities in international markets where governments seek to build secure digital foundations for public service delivery.
Strategic Expansion and Global Reach
The engagement with MOSIP signifies a major capability-building initiative for CSM Technologies. The adoption of MOSIP aligns with the growing importance of foundational digital identity as a core building block of DPI. A trusted identity layer can enable governments to connect citizens with a wider range of public services and digital ecosystems. This development further reinforces CSM Technologies’ evolution from an e-Governance technology provider into a broader DPI and GovTech solutions partner for governments and public institutions. The company’s experience in implementing large-scale government platforms provides a complementary foundation for delivering integrated DPI ecosystems rather than standalone technology deployments.
