Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) has announced a significant strategic move with the signing of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jabil Inc. for a proposed 50:50 joint venture to manufacture and assemble artificial intelligence (AI) and data centre equipment in India.

Strategic Collaboration

The joint venture aims to serve India’s accelerating data centre demand, with industry forecasts projecting a capacity of 5-8 gigawatts (GW) by 2030. The companies estimate the global market opportunity at more than $3 trillion over the next seven years, as investment in AI compute infrastructure continues to surge.

Manufacturing AI Hardware

The joint venture will manufacture and assemble AI racks, servers, storage, and networking equipment used in data centres. The venture is expected to have multi-gigawatt AI rack manufacturing capacity, supporting computing systems with a combined power capacity of several gigawatts. It will also provide installation and commissioning services.

As a result, the joint venture will provide a manufacturing base in India to serve domestic demand and support exports. The collaboration aligns with Adani Group’s commitment to develop 5 GW of green-energy-powered, hyperscale AI-ready data centres by 2035. For Jabil, which reported $36 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2026, the venture will expand its engineering and manufacturing footprint in India’s data centre market.

Notably, this move underscores Adani Enterprises’ vision to expand up the AI value chain, evolving from powering and hosting AI infrastructure to engineering and manufacturing the critical systems that will define the next generation of computing.

Adani Enterprises Limited (ADANIENT) has secured a USD 1 billion investment for Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), valuing AAHL at a pre-money equity valuation of USD 18 billion. The investment, comprising Alpha Wave Global, Premji Invest, Temasek, and BlackRock managed funds, marks a significant milestone for the Adani Airports platform.

Strategic Investment

The transaction represents one of the largest primary equity investments from financial institutions in India’s airport infrastructure sector. The proceeds will support three strategic priorities: expanding and modernizing airport infrastructure, accelerating the development of Adani Airport City, and scaling non-aeronautical businesses.

Future Growth

Upon completion of all three tranches, the investors will collectively hold approximately 5.54% in AAHL. The investment is expected to increase capacity to serve approximately 200 million passengers annually, deepen commercial monetisation, enhance passenger experience, and further strengthen AAHL’s integrated airport ecosystem.

This partnership marks an important milestone in building out the Adani Airports platform, and we are privileged to have such marquee, long-term investors alongside us on this journey,” said Mr. Jeet Adani, Non-Executive Director, Adani Airport Holdings Limited.
