Sai Life Sciences Becomes First Indian CRDMO With Renewable Energy Site - TradeAlone

Sai Life Sciences Limited has made a significant leap towards sustainability by becoming the first Indian Contract Research, Development, and Manufacturing Organization (CRDMO) with a fully renewable energy-powered site. The company’s Bidar campus, which includes Unit IV and Unit VI, now operates entirely on renewable power.

Achieving 100% Renewable Energy

The Bidar campus has reached a milestone by sourcing 100% of its electricity from renewable sources. This transition was achieved through a phased, multi-year effort. In 2020, renewable sources accounted for 21% of the site’s energy consumption, which increased to 57% in 2022 and 89% in fiscal 2024, before reaching full conversion in fiscal 2026.

Sustainability and Efficiency Initiatives

The transition combined long-term renewable power purchase agreements with direct investments in clean energy infrastructure. Nearly 80% of Sai Life Sciences’ total electricity consumption now comes from renewable sources, achieving zero market-based Scope 2 emissions and avoiding an estimated 35,110 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.

Future Outlook

This achievement reflects Sai Life Sciences’ broader approach to integrating scientific innovation, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability into the company’s growth strategy. The company continues to focus on expanding its renewable energy access and implementing energy-efficiency initiatives.

Sai gains 31.3% over three months and trades near its 52-week highs. The PEG of 0.35 is extremely low. Either the market misses the growth story, or there is a catch worth investigating. Revenue grows at 24.1% and profits at 201.2% CAGR. Both numbers are exceptional. RSI hits 71, a level that signals the stock runs hot. Notably, buyers drove volume on 15 recent sessions — though at these levels, some profit-taking is normal. Both the business and the stock move in the right direction. Revenue grows at 24.1%, profits at 201.2%, and the PEG sits at 0.35 — below its growth rate. That combination is rare. Check Fundamentals of Sai Life Sciences Limited.

Global posts a 9.1% three-month gain, but softens in the last few weeks. The PEG reaches 3.56. The stock trades on brand and index weight, not on growth. The business compounds revenue at 17.2% and profits at 19.5% CAGR. That is strong double-digit growth on both counts. The stock gives back 2.6% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. The stock rises 9.1% in three months on 17.2% revenue growth. As a result, the market gives it more credit than the fundamentals strictly justify. Watch the next quarterly results. If growth accelerates, the move makes sense.
