Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DIACABS) breaks out, gaining +6% to clear its 6-month resistance trendline at ₹207. This move follows a period of consolidation and marks a significant technical milestone. DIACABS operates in the industrials sector, specifically within specialty industrial machinery, and today’s breakout indicates strong momentum, potentially driven by the company’s robust revenue growth and improving market sentiment.
Technical setup — trendlines & DMA
The current trendline structure shows DIACABS with a 6-month support floor at ₹204.57, which is 4.93% below today’s price. The resistance trendline was at ₹206.73, which the stock has now cleared by 3.92%. The 50-DMA at ₹173.2 is above the 200-DMA at ₹148.0, indicating a bullish trend. DIACABS is currently 24.31% above the 50-DMA, suggesting an extended move. The stock is in the upper third of its 52-week range (₹99.4 to ₹218.0), implying that much of the recent momentum is already priced in.
Snapshot: ₹215.17 on 2026-06-15 (chart frozen at publication)
Fundamentals & business context
With a PE of 71.5 and profit margins at 8.3%, DIACABS’s valuation appears stretched relative to its current earnings, especially given the thin profit margins. However, the revenue CAGR of 415.3% over the past five years suggests that the market may be pricing in a significant turnaround or future growth potential. The negligible institutional ownership of 0.2% indicates that institutional investors are currently cautious about the stock. There was no NSE catalyst today, making this move primarily technical.
Algorithmic scorecard
The overall algorithmic scorecard reflects a technically strong but fundamentally weak position for DIACABS. The strongest signals include the bullish trend, with the 50-DMA above the 200-DMA, and the bullish sentiment over the last 30 days, where up days have seen significantly higher volume than down days. These indicators suggest systematic accumulation and positive momentum. On the weaker side, the low profit margin of 8.3% and the negligible dividend yield of 0% represent risks. The low margin leaves little room for error, while the lack of dividend income reduces the stock’s appeal to income-focused investors.

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (diacabs) to Add Another CCV Line for Cables Up to 132 KV
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DIACABS) announces the addition of a new CCV line, boosting capacity for 132 kV cables.
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DIACABS) is pleased to announce the addition of another Catenary Continuous Vulcanizations (CCV) line at its Vadodara plant. This new line will manufacture XLPE-insulated power cables up to 132 kV, significantly enhancing the company’s high-voltage and extra-high-voltage capacity. The machinery is scheduled for delivery by August 2027, with commissioning targeted for December 31, 2027. With this expansion, DIACABS will operate six CCV lines and five silane lines at its 130-acre single-location plant.
Meeting Growing Demand
The expansion comes as demand grows for underground cabling from state utilities, transmission developers, renewable energy parks, and data centers. The new CCV line will be supported by DIACABS’s existing in-house facilities, including its own aluminium rod mills, in-house compounding, and NABL-accredited high-voltage test laboratories rated up to 765 kV.
Strengthening Market Position
Commenting on the development, Mr. Kavish Shah, Vice President of Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited, said: ‘Our EHV order book is growing steadily, and customers are asking for larger volumes on shorter timelines. This new CCV line strengthens our position as one of India’s leading MV and EHV cable manufacturers. It will help us serve that demand from a single, integrated location.’ With this expansion, DIACABS continues to solidify its leadership in the power cable manufacturing sector.
