Zf Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited Q3 2027 Nominations

ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited (ZF CVCS India) has secured business nominations from three leading Indian commercial vehicle OEMs for its ESCsmart™ Electronic Stability Control (ESC) solution. The multi-year programs cover truck platforms across both 24V and 12V architectures and support upcoming vehicle programs designed to meet India’s new ESC safety regulations. Production is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027, with all systems to be locally assembled and supplied from ZF CVCS India’s manufacturing facilities in India.

Significant Step Towards Global Safety Standards

The announcement comes ahead of the implementation of India’s AIS regulations, which will make Electronic Stability Control (ESC) mandatory for trucks from October 1, 2027. As vehicle manufacturers prepare next-generation platforms to meet the new requirements, demand for proven stability-control technologies is increasing rapidly. These nominations reflect the growing adoption in the Indian market. Globally, ESC is widely recognized as one of the most effective active safety technologies for reducing loss-of-control and rollover-related crashes.

Proven Technology with Extensive Expertise

ESCsmart™ is already deployed across over 60,000 vehicles and is backed by ZF’s 20+ years of ESC expertise and worldwide deliveries of more than 3 million systems. Paramjit Singh Chadha, Managing Director, ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Ltd said: “As the Indian commercial vehicle industry prepares for the next phase of safety regulations, vehicle stability technologies are evolving from being a differentiator to becoming a fundamental requirement.”

ZF falls 84.5% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG of 2.90 is on the high side. However, it is acceptable for a quality compounder with a strong moat. Not a single revenue dip or loss quarter in five years — this is a business built to last through cycles. RSI stands at 14, well into oversold territory. Yet sellers still dominated on 20 of recent sessions versus 10 for buyers, so the pressure has not fully lifted. Revenue grows at 6.2% and profits at 17.6% CAGR, with D/E of 0.02. Meanwhile, the stock dips 84.5% in three months without any fundamental deterioration. Consequently, the stock quietly becomes cheaper relative to earnings power. For long-term investors, that is a feature. Check Fundamentals of ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited.

Both intercompany exports and domestic business registered a double-digit growth rate. Earnings quality was marginally impacted by rising input costs and weakening INR, but our mitigation measures helped us manage the impact partially. Backed by our order book and with on-track capex framework, we look forward to delivering value to all our stakeholders.”

Schaeffler falls 11.5% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG stands at 4.87 — severely stretched. Any earnings miss could trigger a sharp de-rating. Revenue consistency is the one bright spot — zero dips in five years shows operational resilience. The stock sits at 16% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 12.3% CAGR — a respectable pace. However, the stock drops 11.5% in three months without an obvious fundamental trigger. Sector-wide pressure or a valuation re-rating can persist for longer than expected. Therefore, there is no rush to step in. Check Fundamentals of Schaeffler India Limited.

Lumax posts a 6.8% three-month gain, but softens in the last few weeks. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. Revenue grows at 21.4% and profits at 18.7% CAGR. Both numbers are exceptional. The stock gives back 3.9% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. Revenue grows at 21.4% and profits at 18.7%. The business is in good shape. Moreover, a stock that does not move despite strong fundamentals often offers better value than one already priced for perfection. Check Fundamentals of Lumax Industries Limited.
