Sudeep Pharma Limited (sudeepphrm) FDA Approval Enables New Pharma Greenfield Facility Operations
Sudeep Pharma Limited (SUDEEPPHRM) receives FDA approval for new Gujarat facility, enabling manufacturing operations with 51,200 MT annual capacity.
Sudeep Pharma Limited (NSE: SUDEEPPHRM) has received approval from the Gujarat Food and Drug Control Administration (FDA) for its new pharma greenfield manufacturing facility at 179 Nandesari, Gujarat, authorising the commencement of manufacturing operations at the site. This approval marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey and confirms that the facility’s manufacturing systems, quality controls, and compliance framework meet the requirements for commencing operations.
Strengthening Manufacturing Capabilities
The facility has an annual installed capacity of 51,200 MT, significantly strengthening the company’s manufacturing capabilities across Pharma, Food & Nutrition, and Specialty Ingredients. This approval allows the company to bring the new capacity on stream and serve growing demand from pharmaceutical, food, and nutrition customers in domestic and international markets.
Facility’s Role in Growth Strategy
Commercial supplies from this facility are expected to commence in H2 FY27, following the completion of customer qualification processes. Approximately 60% of the facility’s capacity is allocated to the company’s existing Pharma, Food & Nutrition portfolio, while the remaining capacity will cater to newer product categories, including phosphates, glycinates, gluconates, and citrates. The facility will also provide dedicated capacity for higher-value ingredients, reinforcing the company’s focus on portfolio diversification and strengthening its presence in regulated markets.
Mr. Sujit Bhayani, Managing Director, Sudeep Pharma Limited, commented on the development, stating: ‘The FDA approval for our 179 Nandesari greenfield facility marks an important milestone in our growth journey, enabling us to commence manufacturing operations and unlock significant additional capacity. It strengthens our ability to serve a wider customer base across pharmaceutical, food, and nutrition segments in India and international markets. With the approval in place, we can now accelerate customer qualification processes and audits at the facility, facilitating the onboarding of both new and existing customers. The facility also provides us with the flexibility to expand our presence across existing and newer product categories, including high-value, specialised ingredients such as bisglycinates. This will enable us to address evolving customer requirements, scale up our specialised ingredients portfolio, and pursue larger opportunities in international markets. We believe this investment will serve as an important growth driver as we progress into the next phase of our journey.’

Orchid falls 12.5% over three months and has not found a floor yet. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. No meaningful dividend — total return is entirely dependent on capital appreciation. The stock holds at 65% of its 52-week range with RSI at 36. In other words, neither side has a clear edge right now. The stock rises -12.5% in three months on 22.3% revenue growth. As a result, the market gives it more credit than the fundamentals strictly justify. Watch the next quarterly results. If growth accelerates, the move makes sense. If not, expect some gains to unwind. Check Fundamentals of Orchid Pharma Limited.
