Poly Medicure Limited (NSE: POLYMED) gains 6% intraday, tests resistance
Poly Medicure Limited (NSE: POLYMED) stock price gains 6% intraday to ₹1803.3, testing resistance in the Healthcare sector’s Medical Instruments & Supplies s.
Poly Medicure Limited (POLYMED) tested resistance today, gaining +6% intraday to hit ₹1803.3 on the NSE. The stock has approached its 6-month resistance trendline at ₹1792, but has not yet cleared it. This move comes amidst the resignation of Ravi Prakash, Deputy Company Secretary, and an investor presentation, though the primary driver appears to be the stock’s technical setup rather than these announcements. Poly Medicure, a key player in the medical instruments and supplies sector, saw its stock rise in a sector that has shown mixed performance, indicating this move may be more company-specific than sector-driven.
Technical setup — trendlines & DMA
POLYMED’s current 6-month trendline structure shows a support floor at ₹1792.4, just 0.60% below today’s price, and resistance at ₹1791.52, which the stock has marginally surpassed by 0.65%. The 50-day moving average (DMA) at ₹1596.1 is above the 200-DMA at ₹1590.6, signaling a bullish trend, though the stock is not overly extended above these averages. Currently, POLYMED is trading in the middle third of its 52-week range, suggesting that while there is room for further upside, a significant portion of the potential move may already be priced in.
Snapshot: ₹1,803.30 on 2026-08-10 (chart frozen at publication)
Fundamentals & business context
With a PE ratio of 53.3 and profit margins at 17.2%, POLYMED’s valuation appears stretched relative to its current earnings, though its revenue CAGR of 19.1% over the past five years suggests robust growth. The 18.1% institutional ownership indicates a cautious yet positive view from the smart money, though today’s move does not appear driven by any specific NSE catalyst. This suggests that the stock’s performance may be more influenced by its technical setup and market sentiment than by immediate news.
Algorithmic scorecard
POLYMED’s overall algorithmic scorecard reflects a balanced but cautious outlook, with strong revenue and profit growth offset by overvaluation and negligible dividend yield. The strongest signals come from its excellent revenue CAGR of 22.7% and very low debt levels, indicating solid business growth and financial health. However, the overvalued PEG ratio of 2.35 and the minimal dividend yield of 0.2% pose risks, suggesting that while the company is growing, its stock price may not fully align with its growth trajectory, and income-seeking investors may find limited appeal.
Company outlook
POLYMED has guided for a revenue range of INR2,300 crores to INR2,400 crores for FY ’27 on a consolidated basis, up from INR1,875 crores in FY ’26. On a stand-alone basis, revenue is expected to be between INR1,900 crores and INR1,950 crores for FY ’27, with domestic business growing by over 20% and international business by over 15%. The company anticipates stand-alone EBITDA margins between 25% and 27%, and consolidated EBITDA margins between 23% and 25% for FY ’27. Growth is expected in the Renal segment, with a guided 20% increase for FY ’27, and low double-digit growth for Citieffe in euro terms. POLYMED plans to invest between INR200 crores and INR225 crores in capex this year, focusing on automation to offset wage revisions, and aims to enhance the margins of acquired companies Citieffe and PendraCare through synergies and engineering work in India.

Fundamental & Technical Analysis of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited belongs to the Healthcare › Drug Manufacturers – Specialty & Generic sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
Glenmark rises 12.9% over three months, with buying pressure holding steady. The PEG of 0.59 signals undervaluation relative to growth. It is a potential re-rating candidate. Revenue grows at 13.5% and profits at 66.1% CAGR. The market consistently rewards this kind of compounding. The stock trades at 90% of its 52-week range — near its best levels of the year. Clearly, the market pays a premium for this name. Both the business and the stock move in the right direction. Revenue grows at 13.5%, profits at 66.1%, and the PEG sits at 0.59 — below its growth rate. That combination is rare. Check Fundamentals of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited.
