Century Enka Limited Q2/H1 FY27: Strong Revenue Growth Despite Margin Pressure
Century Enka Limited (CENTENKA) reports strong Q2/H1 FY27 results with revenue growth, despite margin pressure from raw material costs.
Century Enka Limited (NSE: CENTENKA) has reported robust financial results for Q2/H1 FY27, showcasing significant revenue growth despite challenges in maintaining margins due to raw material cost volatility. The company’s revenue from operations stood at INR 5,582 Mn in Q2 FY27, marking a 36.6% year-on-year increase. The EBITDA stood at INR 328 Mn, with an EBITDA margin of 5.88%.
Operational Highlights
The auto sector delivered strong performance during the quarter, with passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles being key growth drivers. However, festive demand might not sustain in the next two quarters due to deficit monsoon, high inflation, and rising interest rates. The company’s nylon filament yarn (NFY) sales volume saw a boost due to festive season demand, although margins were impacted by continued imports from China and high raw material prices.
Raw Material and Cost Management
The company faced high volatility in raw material prices during Q2, which impacted margins. To mitigate these costs, Century Enka Limited is in the process of increasing its hybrid power capacity, with benefits expected to start from Q4 FY27. Power costs also increased due to higher grid power tariffs and LNG rates.
Looking ahead, Century Enka Limited remains optimistic about its growth trajectory, focusing on value-added products and capacity addition to sustain margins and revenue growth.

Fundamental & Technical Analysis of Century Enka Limited
Century Enka Limited belongs to the Consumer Cyclical › Textile Manufacturing sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
Century posts a 3.2% three-month gain, but softens in the last few weeks. Thin margins at 7.9% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. The PEG of 2.24 makes it expensive versus peers. The premium needs earnings to catch up quickly. The stock gives back 0.5% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. The stock holds up despite -6.2% revenue growth and a PEG of 2.24. That could signal an early turnaround. Alternatively, index flows simply support the price. Watch whether analysts revise estimates upward — that is the real signal. Check Fundamentals of Century Enka Limited.
