Jyoti Structures Limited Jyotistruc October 2026 Order

Jyoti Structures Limited (JSL), a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company specializing in power transmission infrastructure, has secured a ₹648.91 crore order from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for Package TL05 of the ±800 kV HVDC Bipole Barmer-II and South Kalamb Transmission Lines project in Gujarat. This significant award follows two previous orders worth a combined ₹949.35 crore for Packages TL01 and TL02 under the same project in Rajasthan. With this latest win, the total value of the three awards now stands at ₹1,598.26 crore, excluding GST.

Project Scope and Significance

The order involves the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of ±800 kV high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines on a turnkey basis. The project is expected to be completed within 38 months from the date of the Notification of Award (NOA). This latest order underscores JSL’s robust capabilities in executing complex technical requirements and its strong position in the power transmission sector.

Company’s Recent Achievements

Apart from this significant win, JSL has also secured a ₹689.93 crore contract from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) for the 765 kV DC Pachchham–Saykha Transmission Line project in Gujarat. Additionally, the company is executing a 220 kV double-circuit transmission line project in Sri Lanka in partnership with Hayleys Fentons Limited to support the evacuation of wind power to the country’s national grid. These projects highlight JSL’s extensive experience and its ability to deliver large-scale transmission infrastructure solutions.

Commenting on the development, Amit Dutta, COO of Jyoti Structures Limited, said, “The engineering and execution of ±800 kV HVDC transmission lines involve complex technical requirements and close coordination across multiple stages of the project. Our integrated EPC capabilities bring together design and engineering, manufacturing, prototype tower testing, and site execution, enabling us to address these requirements through a coordinated approach. Attention to engineering detail, site conditions, and quality at every stage remains central to how we execute transmission projects.”

With over five decades of experience in power transmission EPC, JSL has constructed more than 37,600 circuit kilometers of transmission lines and delivered over 1,800 high-voltage substation bays across India and international markets. The company’s prototype tower testing facility at Ghoti, near Nashik, supports the testing of tower designs under prescribed load conditions, with testing capability up to 1,200 kV. JSL’s project execution experience spans varied terrains and challenging site conditions, requiring engineering and construction methods suited to project-specific technical, environmental, and logistical requirements.

Jyoti drops 20.1% over three months and trades near its 52-week lows. Thin margins at 7.6% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. Revenue consistency is the one bright spot — zero dips in five years shows operational resilience. The stock sits at 15% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 48.2% and the stock moves sideways over three months. Snowman falls 8.3% over three months and has not found a floor yet. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. 1 loss quarter(s) over five years signals earnings fragility — not chronic but worth noting. The stock sits at 17% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 13.1% CAGR and the PEG stands at 99.00. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Furthermore, flat price action adds no technical catalyst. A lower price or faster revenue growth would improve the odds. Check Fundamentals of Snowman Logistics Limited.
