Fineotex Chemical Limited Q1 FY27 Earnings

Fineotex Chemical Limited (FCL) announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30th, 2026, marking a robust start to FY27 with significant growth in both revenues and profitability. The company’s total income from operations surged 164.48% year-on-year to ₹386.72 crores. This impressive performance was underpinned by a successful integration of CrudeChem Technologies Group, which has bolstered Fineotex’s presence in the oil & gas specialty chemicals market.

Financial Highlights

The consolidated EBITDA increased by 134.69% to ₹59.14 crores, while the consolidated PAT (Profit After Tax) rose by 92.67% to ₹48.21 crores. These gains reflect the operational efficiencies and capacity utilization improvements under Fineotex’s management. The company’s gross profit increased by 190.25% to ₹133.40 crores, with the gross margin improving to 35.42%.

Operational Achievements

Fineotex has also commissioned a major capacity expansion at its Texas facility, boosting total manufacturing capacity to approximately 1,48,000 MTPA. The company successfully passed on higher raw material costs, preserving healthy blended margins. Additionally, Fineotex continues to evaluate inorganic growth opportunities while expanding across various sectors including textile, oil & gas, water treatment, FMCG, and cleaning & hygiene.

Mr. Sanjay Tibrewala, Executive Director and CFO of Fineotex Chemical, commented, ‘We delivered a strong start to FY27 with healthy growth in both revenues and profitability, supported by the successful integration of our oilfield specialty chemicals business. The acquisition has significantly enhanced our presence in the global oil & gas chemicals market and contributed meaningfully to the Company’s overall performance.’ Ms. Aarti Jhunjhunwala, Executive Director, added, ‘Our core domestic business continued to perform well during the quarter, backed by healthy demand across key end-user industries and the strength of our diversified specialty chemicals portfolio. Despite volatility in global raw material prices, we successfully managed input cost inflation through effective pricing actions while maintaining healthy margins and customer relationships.’ As Fineotex Chemical continues to integrate the business and realize operational synergies, it remains confident of sustaining its margin profile while creating long-term value for its stakeholders.

Fineotex gains 82.9% over three months and trades near its 52-week highs. The PEG stands at 5.33 — severely stretched. Any earnings miss could trigger a sharp de-rating. No meaningful dividend — total return is entirely dependent on capital appreciation. The stock gives back 3.4% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. The stock rises 82.9% in three months on 14.4% revenue growth. As a result, the market gives it more credit than the fundamentals strictly justify. Watch the next quarterly results. If growth accelerates, the move makes sense. If not, expect some gains to unwind. Check Fundamentals of Fineotex Chemical Limited.

Rallis India Limited Rallis Q2 FY27 Results

Rallis India Limited (RALLIS) has reported its Q2 & H1 FY27 results, showcasing a resilient topline despite input cost pressures and challenging market conditions. The company’s EBITDA fell by 18% primarily due to cost pressures in Crop Care and higher sales returns in Seeds. Despite the weakest monsoon since 2015, the Domestic Formulation Business (B2C) delivered flat revenue with promising growth in Herbicides. The Soil & Plant Health business registered 22% growth, bouncing back from last year’s regulatory challenge.

B2B Business Performance

The B2B business registered higher unit realization but lower margins in the international market due to cost pressures. The Custom Synthesis Manufacturing (CSM) business saw strong growth on a lower base with volume growth in select products.

New Product Launches

Rallis India Limited launched four new products during Q2 FY27, including two fungicides, one herbicide, and one insecticide. These strategic additions aim to enhance the company’s portfolio offerings and cater to the evolving needs of farmers.

As the company moves forward, it continues to focus on its long-term strategy of widening reach, extending portfolio offerings, building strategic alliances, and enhancing its focus on Soil & Plant Health solutions. With a strong distribution network and a commitment to customer centricity, Rallis India Limited is well-positioned to navigate the challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities in the agricultural sector.

Rallis falls 12.4% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG of 0.72 signals undervaluation relative to growth. It is a potential re-rating candidate. Thin margins at 7.2% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. The stock gains 1.1% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. Revenue grows at -0.9% and the stock moves sideways over three months. Neither side makes a strong case. Nuvoco moves sideways over three months, with neither buyers nor sellers taking control. The PEG of 0.17 is extremely low. Either the market misses the growth story, or there is a catch worth investigating. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. The stock gains 7.9% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. Revenue grows at 2.7% and profits at 183.0%.
