Nocil Limited NSE NOCIL Q1fy27 Results

NOCIL Limited, India’s largest manufacturer of rubber chemicals, reported its financial results for the first quarter of FY27. Revenue from operations grew 20% year-on-year to 403 crore, mainly driven by increased selling prices on account of sharp increase in input costs. Net profit rose 61% to 28 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding to 11.2%, up 210 basis points over the previous year due to improved operating efficiency and inventory gains.

Revenue and Profit Surge

Volumes grew 9% year-on-year, led by strong double-digit growth in domestic demand following the implementation of GST 2.0, alongside continued conversion of the company’s export pipeline. The company’s net profit increase reflects consistent execution across both domestic and export businesses in a challenging environment.

Capacity Expansion

The company has announced a further 130 crore brownfield capital expenditure programme at its Dahej facility, aimed at expanding capacity for peak-utilization rubber chemical products through an integrated, backward-integrated facility. This is in addition to the 250 crore capex programme already underway at Dahej, which has moved into trial production.

Mr. V.S. Anand, Managing Director, NOCIL Limited, said: “Our performance this quarter reflects consistent execution across both our domestic and export businesses in a challenging environment. Beyond the numbers, we are equally focused on building for the future, our expanded investment at Dahej reinforces our commitment to structured capacity augmentation, backward integration, and long-term competitiveness in a market that is increasingly looking to India as a reliable manufacturing partner.”

NOCIL falls 8.9% over three months and has not found a floor yet. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. Revenue contracts at -7.4% CAGR. That signals structural headwinds, not a short-term blip. The stock holds at 58% of its 52-week range with RSI at 53. In other words, neither side has a clear edge right now. Revenue grows at -7.4% CAGR and the PEG stands at 99.00. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Furthermore, flat price action adds no technical catalyst. A lower price or faster revenue growth would improve the odds. Check Fundamentals of NOCIL Limited.

Steel holds in the upper half of its 52-week range, a sign the market backs the stock. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. The PEG of 1.09 sits close to fair value. The stock is neither a clear buy nor obviously expensive. The stock gains 2.1% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. The stock rises -1.5% in three months on 2.0% revenue growth. As a result, the market gives it more credit than the fundamentals strictly justify. Watch the next quarterly results. Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) has achieved a significant milestone by securing recognition from the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) as an Awarding Body. Significance of NCVET Recognition

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was attended by key officials including Chairperson, NCVET and Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, Ms Debashree Mukherjee. As an Awarding Body, JSL will be eligible to award, assess, and certify learners for approved qualifications where training is directly imparted through campuses or training centers owned or fully managed by the organization.

First Qualification Developed

NCVET has approved the first qualification developed by JSL – “Stainless Steel Decorative Pipe & Tube Manufacturing Operator” under Capital Goods sector at NSQF Level 4. This marks an important step in giving industry a stronger role in shaping and recognizing the capabilities that India’s stainless steel sector will need.
