Carraro India Limited Carraro Q1 FY27 Results

Carraro India Limited (CARRARO) has reported its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 30th June 2026, showcasing a resilient start to the financial year. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations increased by 10% year-on-year to INR 5,447 million, driven by sustained momentum in the domestic business.

Financial Highlights

The company’s EBITDA (incl. other income) stood at INR 579 million, marking a 6% year-on-year growth, while the PAT stood at INR 314 million, reflecting an 8% increase. Despite higher energy and raw-material costs due to geopolitical disruptions, disciplined cost management and execution efficiencies helped sustain earnings growth.

Operational Highlights

Domestic revenue grew by ~26% year-on-year, driven by robust demand for 4WD axles in the agricultural vehicle segment. In contrast, export revenue declined by ~14% year-on-year due to geopolitical disruptions and uneven demand across global markets. The company’s engineering services business gained momentum, with projects worth INR 33 million finalized and concluded in July 2026.

Looking Ahead

Carraro India Limited remains focused on delivering positive growth in FY27. Better cost absorption, improved operating efficiencies, higher utilisation levels, and continued cost discipline are expected to support margin improvement as the company works towards its medium-term revenue and profitability objectives.

Carraro moves sideways over three months, with neither buyers nor sellers taking control. The PEG of 0.60 signals undervaluation relative to growth. It is a potential re-rating candidate. Thin margins at 5.8% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. The stock gains 2.6% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. Both the business and the stock move in the right direction. Revenue grows at 9.8%, profits at 39.2%, and the PEG sits at 0.60 — below its growth rate. That combination is rare. Check Fundamentals of Carraro India Limited.

TVS posts a 4.5% three-month gain, but softens in the last few weeks. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. Revenue contracts at 6.8% CAGR. That signals structural headwinds, not a short-term blip. The stock gives back 8.0% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. Revenue grows at 6.8% CAGR and the PEG stands at 99.00. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Furthermore, flat price action adds no technical catalyst. A lower price or faster revenue growth would improve the odds. Check Fundamentals of TVS Srichakra Limited.
