Ghcl Textiles Limited Q2 FY27 Results

GHCL Textiles Limited (GHCLTEXTIL) has reported impressive financial results for the second quarter and the first half of FY27, reflecting robust growth amidst a volatile textile industry environment. The company’s timely cotton procurement, focus on the domestic market, and expanding value-added portfolio enabled it to deliver healthy growth through the half year.

Financial Highlights

The company’s total income for Q2 FY27 stood at Rs. 446 crore, marking a 9% increase from Q2 FY26. The EBITDA surged by 31% QoQ and 141% YoY to Rs. 92 crore, while the PAT rose by 42% QoQ and 249% YoY to Rs. 16 crore. However, an exceptional loss of Rs. 27 crore due to a fire incident at the Godown impacted the PAT, reducing it to Rs. 48 crore. Adjusted PAT, excluding the exceptional loss, saw a remarkable 42% QoQ and 249% YoY increase.

Operational Progress

GHCL Textiles Limited continues to make steady progress on its vertical integration journey. The company’s 25,000-spindle unit has reached full capacity, and its knitting capacity is being scaled up. Additionally, land has been allotted at PM Mitra Park for fabric processing facilities. The Board has approved the next phase of spinning expansion along with additional rooftop solar capacity, further strengthening the company’s green energy footprint.

Looking ahead, GHCL Textiles Limited’s strategic focus remains on value-added yarns, deeper integration into fabrics, and expanding its presence in knitted and woven fabrics, processing, and eventually ready-to-cut fabric, along with green energy and operational excellence. Backed by a strong balance sheet and the structural tailwinds from India’s expanding FTA network, the company remains confident in its ability to navigate near-term volatility and deliver sustainable, long-term value to all stakeholders.

Samvardhana rises 11.0% over three months, with buying pressure holding steady. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. The business compounds revenue at 17.1% and profits at 37.2% CAGR. That is strong double-digit growth on both counts. The stock trades at 82% of its 52-week range — near its best levels of the year. Clearly, the market pays a premium for this name. Shankara falls 80.6% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG of 0.35 is extremely low. Either the market misses the growth story, or there is a catch worth investigating. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. RSI stands at 12, well into oversold territory. Yet sellers still dominated on 15 of recent sessions versus 15 for buyers, so the pressure has not fully lifted. Revenue grows at 29.6% and profits at 63.4% CAGR, with D/E of 0.12.
