CreditAccess Grameen Limited NSE: CREDITACC gains 5% intraday

CREDITACCESS GRAMEEN LIMITED (CREDITACC) gained +5% to near resistance at ₹1600.2 on the NSE on 27 Jul 2026. The stock is approaching resistance but has not cleared it, despite being 3.7% above the resistance level of ₹1541. This move comes as the company navigates a mixed market environment within the Financial Services > Credit Services sector. While the stock is nearing resistance, it remains slightly above support at ₹1602, indicating a tight trading range.

Technical setup — trendlines & DMA

From a technical perspective, CREDITACC is currently testing the 6M resistance trendline at ₹1541.35, with today’s price just 0.12% below the 6M support trendline at ₹1602.06. The stock is extended, trading 8% above its 50-DMA of ₹1401.0, suggesting a stretched move. The 50-DMA is above the 200-DMA of ₹1320.5, indicating a bullish trend. However, the stock is in the upper third of its 52W range, up 98% from the 52W low and just -0.5% from the 52W high, implying that much of the potential upside may already be priced in.

Fundamentals & business context

Fundamentally, CREDITACC’s PE of 31.3, coupled with a profit margin of 32.0% and a robust revenue CAGR of 20.9%, suggests that the market is pricing in strong growth expectations. However, the profit CAGR of -2.0% over the past five years indicates some pressure on earnings growth. The 18.1% institutional ownership reflects a cautious yet interested stance from smart money, possibly awaiting clearer signs of a turnaround in profit growth. There was no specific NSE catalyst today, but the overall market sentiment and technical setup likely contributed to the intraday gain.

PTC falls 8.3% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG of 0.36 is extremely low. Either the market misses the growth story, or there is a catch worth investigating. Industry-leading margins of 63.4% reflect exceptional pricing power and operational efficiency. The stock gains 4.8% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. The stock rises -8.3% in three months on -15.8% revenue growth. As a result, the market gives it more credit than the fundamentals strictly justify. Watch the next quarterly results. If growth accelerates, the move makes sense. Our upward trajectory in disbursements continued during the current quarter as well, where we recorded our historically best disbursements at INR 2,078 Cr, up 39% over the previous quarter and 74% year-on-year.

Record Disbursements and Portfolio Growth

The loan book also saw robust growth with our Assets Under Management (AUM) at INR 14,640 Cr, a growth of 7% over the previous quarter and 14% year-on-year. Importantly, this growth has come alongside improving collections, stable asset quality, and profitability.

Improved Collections and Asset Quality

Five-Star falls 9.2% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG of 0.61 signals undervaluation relative to growth. It is a potential re-rating candidate. D/E of 1.26 is elevated. As a result, debt servicing will compress free cash flow in a high-rate environment. The stock holds at 51% of its 52-week range with RSI at 45. In other words, neither side has a clear edge right now. Revenue grows at 27.5% and profits at 22.1% CAGR, with D/E of 1.26. Meanwhile, the stock dips 9.2% in three months without any fundamental deterioration. Consequently, the stock quietly becomes cheaper relative to earnings power.
