Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited Combines Apollo Cradle and Fertility with Cloudnine to Form India’s Largest Integrated Maternity and Fertility Care Platform
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited combines Apollo Cradle and Fertility with Cloudnine, forming India’s largest integrated maternity and fertility care plat.
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited (AHLL) has announced the combination of its Mother & Child and Fertility businesses, operating under the brands Apollo Cradle and Apollo Fertility, with Kids Clinic India Limited’s Mother & Child and Fertility businesses operating under the Cloudnine brand. This strategic move aims to create one of India’s largest integrated maternity and fertility care platforms.
Strategic Combination
The proposed combination values AHLL’s standalone Mother & Child and Fertility verticals at INR 1,550 crores, represented through a combination of cash and a 9.9% equity stake in the Combined Entity. Following the transaction, AHLL will hold a 9.9% stake in the combined entity, making it the largest non-financial shareholder of the platform.
Market Presence
With over 55 centres, the combined platform will be a significant player across operating markets, leveraging the strong network presence of both brands to serve patients across various income and target segments. The Combined Entity will also have one of the largest senior clinician pools, operating under world-class clinical governance structures, with the ability to deliver services seamlessly across the combined network.
The Combined Entity will continue to be driven by a unified professional management team backed by a seasoned board. It will further strengthen the network presence of both brands and synergize efforts to continually ramp up the centres in a defined manner, expanding services in existing markets while enhancing presence in Tier1 and 2 locations more intensely.
