Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DIACABS) breaks out, gains 5% intraday
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DIACABS) stock breaks out with a 5% intraday gain, clearing its 6M resistance trendline. Current price: ₹283.83.
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DIACABS) breaks out with a +5% gain, clearing its 6-month resistance trendline. This move follows the company’s recent NSE filings regarding shareholders meetings and voting results, which may have provided some clarity or positive sentiment to investors. DIACABS operates in the industrials sector, specifically specialty industrial machinery, and today’s move appears to be company-specific rather than a broader sector trend.
Technical setup — trendlines & DMA
The current trendline structure shows a 6-month support floor at ₹206.97, which is 27.08% below today’s price. The 6-month resistance trendline, previously at ₹259.69, has been decisively broken, indicating a strong upward move. The 50-DMA at ₹207.2 is above the 200-DMA at ₹157.2, signaling a bullish trend. DIACABS is currently 30% above the 50-DMA, suggesting an extended move. The stock is in the upper third of its 52-week range, implying that a substantial portion of the move may already be priced in.
Snapshot: ₹283.83 on 2026-07-23 (chart frozen at publication)
Fundamentals & business context
With a PE of 90.0 and profit margins at 8.3%, DIACABS’s valuation appears stretched relative to its current earnings, especially given its revenue CAGR of 415.3%. The market seems to be pricing in significant future growth, despite the company’s declining profit CAGR and thin margins. Institutional ownership is negligible at 0.2%, indicating that smart money is not heavily invested in this name. There was no specific NSE catalyst today beyond the shareholders meeting announcements.
Algorithmic scorecard
The overall algorithmic scorecard reflects a technically strong but fundamentally weak stock. The strongest signals include the bullish trend, with the 50-DMA above the 200-DMA, and the breakout above resistance levels with strong momentum. These indicate that the stock has been accumulating positive sentiment and is in an upward trajectory. However, the weakest signals are the low profit margin of 8.3% and the negligible dividend yield of 0%, which represent risks. The low margin leaves little room for error, and the absence of dividend income reduces the stock’s appeal to income-focused investors.

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (diacabs) to Add Another CCV Line for Cables Up to 132 KV
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DIACABS) announces the addition of a new CCV line, boosting capacity for 132 kV cables.
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DIACABS) is pleased to announce the addition of another Catenary Continuous Vulcanizations (CCV) line at its Vadodara plant. This new line will manufacture XLPE-insulated power cables up to 132 kV, significantly enhancing the company’s high-voltage and extra-high-voltage capacity. The machinery is scheduled for delivery by August 2027, with commissioning targeted for December 31, 2027. With this expansion, DIACABS will operate six CCV lines and five silane lines at its 130-acre single-location plant.
Meeting Growing Demand
The expansion comes as demand grows for underground cabling from state utilities, transmission developers, renewable energy parks, and data centers. The new CCV line will be supported by DIACABS’s existing in-house facilities, including its own aluminium rod mills, in-house compounding, and NABL-accredited high-voltage test laboratories rated up to 765 kV.
Strengthening Market Position
Commenting on the development, Mr. Kavish Shah, Vice President of Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited, said: ‘Our EHV order book is growing steadily, and customers are asking for larger volumes on shorter timelines. This new CCV line strengthens our position as one of India’s leading MV and EHV cable manufacturers. It will help us serve that demand from a single, integrated location.’ With this expansion, DIACABS continues to solidify its leadership in the power cable manufacturing sector.
