Elin Electronics Limited Q4fy26 & FY26 Earnings Presentation: Revenue Up 3%, Challenges in Ebitda
Elin Electronics Limited (ELIN) reports Q4FY26 revenue up 3% YoY, but EBITDA down 70% due to polymer price surge and geopolitical issues.
Elin Electronics Limited (ELIN) has released its Q4FY26 & FY26 earnings presentation, revealing a revenue increase of approximately 3% year-on-year, reaching INR 3,242 million. However, the EBITDA margin was significantly impacted, dropping to INR 60 million, a 70% decrease from INR 202 million in the same period last year. The company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) turned negative, recording INR (8) million compared to INR 172 million in the previous year. Despite the revenue growth, the company faced challenges due to a sharp surge in polymer prices, driven by higher crude prices and the challenging geopolitical situation, along with the depreciation of the INR against the USD.
Financial Performance Overview
The revenue growth was primarily driven by the lighting, fans, and appliances segment, which saw an increase in revenue. However, the EBITDA margin was negatively impacted by a 390 basis point decline in gross margins. The company’s net cash position improved to INR 701 million from INR 590 million, and net working capital days decreased to approximately 59 days from 65 days.
Segment-wise Analysis
In the lighting, fans, and switches segment, revenue increased to INR 940 million in Q4FY26 from INR 940 million in Q4FY25. The small appliances segment also saw a rise in revenue, driven by better volumes in hair dryers, sterilizers, and heated hair brushes. On the other hand, the fractional horsepower motors segment experienced a decline in volume of mixer grinder motors, offset by growth in chimney motors. The company’s precision components and medical cartridges segments also contributed to the overall revenue growth.
Looking ahead, Elin Electronics Limited expects newly added customers in the lighting segment to contribute meaningfully in the coming quarters. The company remains optimistic about its future outlook, focusing on emerging technologies and cost optimization across its product lines.

Fundamental & Technical Analysis of Elin Electronics Limited
Elin Electronics Limited belongs to the Industrials › Electrical Equipment & Parts sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
Elin falls 13.1% over three months and has not found a floor yet. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. Revenue contracts at 2.6% CAGR. That signals structural headwinds, not a short-term blip. The stock sits at 18% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 2.6% CAGR and the PEG stands at 99.00. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Furthermore, flat price action adds no technical catalyst. A lower price or faster revenue growth would improve the odds.
