Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (mazdock): INS Mahendragiri Commissioned into Indian Navy
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MAZDOCK) commissioned INS Mahendragiri into the Indian Navy, marking a significant milestone in India’s indigenous defense.
In a landmark moment for India’s maritime security and indigenous defense capabilities, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) commissioned INS Mahendragiri, an advanced stealth frigate, into the Indian Navy at Visakhapatnam on July 11, 2026. The ceremony was graced by the Honble Raksha Mantri, Shri Rajnath Singh, marking another proud milestone in India’s journey towards Atmanirbharta in Defence and the Government of India’s vision of building a self-reliant defense ecosystem.
A Milestone in Indigenous Naval Engineering
INS Mahendragiri, a flagship of indigenous naval engineering designed and built under Project 17A, is the fourth ship of the Nilgiri class stealth frigates built by MDL. The basic design of the ship was developed by the Indian Navy’s in-house design organization, the Warship Design Bureau (WDB), while the detailed design and construction were undertaken by MDL, Mumbai. Every stage of construction was closely supervised by the Warship Overseeing Team (Mumbai), ensuring uncompromising adherence to the most stringent naval standards and quality benchmarks.
Power, Stealth and Combat Superiority
Measuring 149 meters in length and 17.8 meters in breadth, with a displacement of approximately 6,400 tonnes, INS Mahendragiri is powered by a sophisticated Combined Diesel or Gas (CODOG) propulsion system comprising two Gas Turbines and two Main Diesel Engines, enabling the ship to achieve speeds exceeding 28 knots. The vessel integrates state-of-the-art stealth technology, advanced weapon systems, modern sensors, and highly automated systems that together deliver a decisive edge in combat effectiveness and operational efficiency.
As a result, the induction of INS Mahendragiri will substantially augment the Indian Navy’s surveillance capabilities, operational reach, and maritime security posture across the Indian Ocean Region, reinforcing India’s vision of emerging as a strong, secure, and technologically advanced maritime nation.

Fundamental & Technical Analysis of Blue Dart Express Limited
Blue Dart Express Limited belongs to the Industrials › Integrated Freight & Logistics sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
Blue trades in the lower quarter of its 52-week range. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. Revenue consistency is the one bright spot — zero dips in five years shows operational resilience. The stock sits at 4% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 5.9% CAGR — a respectable pace. However, the stock drops 7.3% in three months without an obvious fundamental trigger. Sector-wide pressure or a valuation re-rating can persist for longer than expected. Therefore, there is no rush to step in. Check Fundamentals of Blue Dart Express Limited.

Greaves falls 19.7% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG stands at 4.48 — severely stretched. Any earnings miss could trigger a sharp de-rating. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. Buyers show up with 2.3x the volume of sellers. Moreover, they dominated on 15 of recent sessions versus 14 for sellers — a healthy accumulation pattern. The stock rises -19.7% in three months on 8.6% revenue growth. As a result, the market gives it more credit than the fundamentals strictly justify. Watch the next quarterly results. If growth accelerates, the move makes sense. If not, expect some gains to unwind. Check Fundamentals of Greaves Cotton Limited.
