Raymond Limited Raymond Q2 FY27 Aerospace Wins

Raymond Limited, a flagship company of the Raymond Group, announced that its Aerospace subsidiary secured significant new aerospace business from a leading Indian aerospace and defence major. This development marks a major win for the company, with an annual business potential of approximately ₹33 crore.

Expanded Aerospace Capabilities

The new orders cover more than 300 part numbers, including precision-machined, casting, and structural components across multiple aircraft applications. The scope spans precision machining, aerospace castings, structural components, and complex assemblies, extending the company’s participation across a wider portion of the aerospace value chain.

Strategic Growth and Margin Enhancement

Commenting on the development, Mr. Rakesh Tiwary, Group Chief Financial Officer, stated: “This order win sits squarely within the product mix optimisation we have identified as a core margin lever. It reaffirms the strong manufacturing process of Raymond Ltd. that spans across machining, castings, structures, and assemblies, rather than at a single stage of the value chain, raising our capture rate per programme and improving the quality of the multi-year backlog we are building against.”

Broadening Domestic Aerospace Footprint

These new orders further strengthen the company’s multi-year aerospace order pipeline and reinforce its strategy of building a scaled, high-precision aerospace and defence manufacturing platform in India. This move broadens the company’s customer base into India’s growing domestic aerospace ecosystem, in a business that has until now been predominantly export-led.

Raymond gains 47.0% over three months and trades near its 52-week highs. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. The PEG of 1.11 sits close to fair value. The stock is neither a clear buy nor obviously expensive. RSI hits 75, a level that signals the stock runs hot. Notably, buyers drove volume on 16 recent sessions — though at these levels, some profit-taking is normal. The stock rises 47.0% in three months on -36.0% revenue growth. As a result, the market gives it more credit than the fundamentals strictly justify. Watch the next quarterly results. If growth accelerates, the move makes sense. If not, expect some gains to unwind. Check Fundamentals of Raymond Limited.

Transport trades in the lower quarter of its 52-week range. Thin margins at 9.0% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. Not a single revenue dip or loss quarter in five years — this is a business built to last through cycles. Buyers show up with 10.2x the volume of sellers. Moreover, they dominated on 16 of recent sessions versus 14 for sellers — a healthy accumulation pattern. Both the business and the stock move in the right direction. Revenue grows at 9.1%, profits at 12.9%, and the PEG sits at 1.12 — below its growth rate. That combination is rare. Check Fundamentals of Transport Corporation of India Limited.
