RHI Magnesita India Limited (RHIM) breaks out, gains 10% intraday
RHI Magnesita India Limited (RHIM) cleared its 6M resistance trendline, gaining 10% intraday to ₹427.0.
RHI Magnesita India Limited (RHIM) breaks out, gaining +10% to ₹427.0 on the NSE on 02 Jul 2026, backed by the announcement of a leadership transition with Pankaj Malhan as the new MD & CEO. This move comes as the stock cleared its 6M resistance trendline, transitioning from a bounce from support to a breakout. In the industrials sector, specifically metal fabrication, RHIM’s performance today seems to be more company-specific rather than a sector-wide momentum, highlighting the impact of the leadership change and internal strategic shifts.
Technical setup — trendlines & DMA
Currently, RHIM’s stock is navigating a robust technical landscape. The 6M support trendline sits at ₹327.38, with the stock trading 23.33% above this level, indicating strong underlying support. Resistance was previously at ₹417.09, which the stock has now surpassed by 2.32%, marking a definitive breakout. The 50-DMA at ₹390.5 is slightly below the current price, while the 200-DMA at ₹423.9 remains above, suggesting a consolidating yet potentially bullish phase. Within its 52W range of ₹323.1 to ₹537.7, the stock is positioned in the middle third, reflecting a balanced risk-reward scenario with room for further upside given its current momentum.

Fundamentals & business context
From a fundamental perspective, RHIM presents a mixed bag. The PE n/a coupled with a -9.5% profit margin and a revenue CAGR of 14.3% suggests that the market may be pricing in a potential turnaround or that the current valuation is stretched relative to earnings. The 17.8% institutional ownership indicates a cautious yet present interest from smart money, possibly betting on the company’s growth trajectory and strategic initiatives. Today’s move is directly tied to the NSE filing announcing the leadership transition, which could signal a shift in strategic direction or operational efficiency.
Algorithmic scorecard
The algorithmic scorecard for RHIM reflects a technically strong but fundamentally weak profile. The strongest signals come from the bullish sentiment over the last 30 days, with a significant volume disparity between up and down days, and strong momentum across all timeframes, indicating systematic accumulation. On the flip side, the weakest signals are the company’s thin profit margins and the recent quarterly loss, which pose risks to sustained profitability and investor confidence. These contrasting signals highlight the need for cautious optimism as RHIM navigates its current growth phase.
Company outlook
Management’s forward guidance for RHIM is cautiously optimistic. They expect to outperform the market by 2% in terms of volume growth and anticipate margin improvements through price increases and cost absorption from the coke oven project. For FY ’27, they project an EBITDA of 13%, with Q1 expected to be particularly strong. The company plans to seek 1%-3% price increases across segments to offset cost increases. Capex for FY ’27 is set at INR 150 crores, focusing on maintenance, sales, and structural growth, with a continued emphasis on modernizing assets and expanding into new industrial segments like petrochemicals following the RESCO acquisition.

Roto Pumps Limited belongs to the Industrials › Specialty Industrial Machinery sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
Roto falls 10.9% over three months and has not found a floor yet. Thin margins at 9.4% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. No meaningful dividend — total return is entirely dependent on capital appreciation. The stock holds at 47% of its 52-week range with RSI at 46. In other words, neither side has a clear edge right now. Revenue grows at 8.0% CAGR and the PEG stands at 99.00. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Furthermore, flat price action adds no technical catalyst. A lower price or faster revenue growth would improve the odds. Check Fundamentals of Roto Pumps Limited.
