Transrail Lighting Limited (transraill) to Enter Renewable Power Generation with 49% Stake in 990 MW Solar Portfolio
Transrail Lighting Limited (TRANSRAILL) to enter renewable power generation with a 49% stake in a 990 MW solar portfolio in Maharashtra.
Transrail Lighting Limited (BSE: 544317, NSE: TRANSRAILL), a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company in the Power Transmission and Distribution sector, announced today that its Board of Directors has approved the proposed acquisition of a 49% equity stake in NOPL Pace Green Energy Private Limited (“NOPL”) at a cash consideration of Rs. 20 crore, subject to the requisite approvals and completion of agreed conditions. NOPL is developing an aggregate solar power portfolio of approximately 990 MW (AC) in Maharashtra under Component C of the Government of India’s PM-KUSUM scheme.
Strategic Investment
This strategic investment aims to leverage Transrail’s project execution capabilities and create opportunities for long-term participation in renewable power generation. The portfolio is backed by a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) at a fixed tariff of ₹3.10 per unit. The indicative total project cost is approximately ₹3,900 crore, and debt financing has been sanctioned by a reputed financial institution, subject to applicable financing and disbursement conditions.
Benefits and Future Prospects
The investment is expected to provide several strategic benefits: entry into renewable power generation, leveraging existing expertise, participation across the value chain, and diversification. Transrail will initially acquire a 49% equity stake, with the agreement providing flexibility for Transrail to increase its shareholding potentially up to 100%, subject to mutually agreed terms and applicable approvals.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Randeep Narang, Managing Director & CEO, Transrail said: “This is an important step in our journey from an EPC company to an integrated energy solutions provider. Our entry into solar power generation lets us participate across the full energy value chain from generation to transmission & distribution apart from our strong manufacturing base for Transmission products. We are proud to foray in India’s rapid growth renewable energy market. On completion of this project, it will contribute towards supply of reliable & green power to farmers easing irrigation and contributing to nation’s development. We as Transrail will bring speed to the project with our vast experience in managing large infra projects. Such projects will bring steady long-term revenues and margins which will further strengthen our overall growth.”

Transrail trades in the lower quarter of its 52-week range. The PEG of 0.28 is extremely low. Either the market misses the growth story, or there is a catch worth investigating. Fundamental & Technical Analysis of Tiger Logistics (India) Limited
Tiger Logistics (India) Limited belongs to the Industrials › Integrated Freight & Logistics sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
Tiger drops 21.8% over three months and trades near its 52-week lows. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. No meaningful dividend — total return is entirely dependent on capital appreciation. The stock sits at 11% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 9.7% yet the PEG reaches 99.00 — expensive for that growth. Furthermore, the stock drops 21.8% in three months. Neither value nor momentum supports this setup. It needs an earnings beat or a price reset first. Aartech Solonics Limited’s Subsidiary Signs Mou for Energy Storage Cooperation
Aartech Solonics Limited’s subsidiary, Faradigm, signs MoU with Shenzhen Titan for energy storage solutions in India.
Aartech Solonics Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, Faradigm Ultracapacitors Pvt. Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shenzhen Titan Smart Energy Technology Co. Ltd. to explore strategic cooperation in advanced energy storage solutions and the development of localized manufacturing and assembly capabilities in India. The proposed collaboration will bring together Titan’s expertise in energy storage technology and manufacturing with Faradigm and Aartech’s industry experience, market presence, and planned manufacturing infrastructure in India.
Strategic Collaboration
The initiative is aimed at exploring solutions suited to the growing requirements of commercial, industrial, and other energy storage applications in the country. A key enabler of this vision is FaraDigm’s upcoming manufacturing facility at the Renewable Energy Manufacturing Cluster at Mohasa-Babai, Madhya Pradesh, which is planned to commence operations in FY 2027–28. The facility is expected to strengthen the company’s capabilities in advanced energy technologies and support the development of energy storage solutions and localized manufacturing opportunities in India.
Focus on LFP-based BESS
The proposed cooperation will initially focus on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP)-based Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), covering capacities from 100 kWh to 5 MWh, including Commercial and Industrial (C&I) energy storage applications and integrated hybrid solutions combining solar power, diesel generators, and battery storage. Plans to enter into Utility Scale projects are currently under review. The partnership will explore manufacturing and technology licensing opportunities with the objective of addressing India’s growing demand for reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy storage solutions.
Driven by plummeting lithium-ion costs and stringent green mandates, India’s Commercial and Industrial (C&I) BESS opportunity is transitioning from a sub-1 GWh base in 2025 to a massive 22–31 GWh projected capacity by 2032, capturing a sub-market CAGR of 36.2% (contributing heavily to a broader national sector projected to grow at a 91% CAGR up to 302 GWh by FY32). Aartech Solonics Limited’s participation in the MP Solar + Storage Expo 2026 further reflects the company’s interest in understanding emerging technologies and exploring opportunities in the energy storage sector.
