Manipal Health Enterprises Limited (MANIPALHOS) announced today its plan to acquire Kinder Women’s Hospital in Bengaluru for INR 130 crores. This acquisition will expand MANIPALHOS’s presence in the fast-growing Whitefield micro-market, adding 100 additional beds to its network. The transaction does not involve acquiring shares and is expected to be completed within 90 days, pending necessary approvals.

The hospital, commissioned in 2022, currently operates with a capacity of 100 beds. With this acquisition, MANIPALHOS will expand its pan-India capacity to over 13,500 licensed beds. The company already has a strong presence in the Whitefield micro-market, where it operates larger hospitals.
