Vital Chemtech Limited (VITAL) announced its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026 (Q4 FY26 & FY26). Despite ongoing global disruptions, the company showcased resilient performance with stable revenue and notable improvements in operational efficiencies.
Q4 FY26 Performance Highlights
In the fourth quarter of FY26, Vital Chemtech Limited reported a revenue of ₹35.1 crore, remaining stable year-on-year. The company’s EBITDA for Q4 FY26 stood at ₹4.0 crore, marking a significant 39.7% year-on-year growth. EBITDA margins improved by 320 basis points to 11.3%, driven by operational efficiencies and enhanced profitability. However, Profit After Tax (PAT) for Q4 FY26 was ₹0.8 crore, declining by 28.2% compared to the same period last year. This decline was primarily due to investments in subsidiaries, Vital Synthesis and Vital Alkoxides.
FY26 Performance Overview
For the full fiscal year 2026, the company’s revenue from operations was ₹126.4 crore, reflecting a 5.6% year-on-year decline. Despite this moderation, EBITDA remained stable at ₹10.0 crore, with a slight decline of 5.6% year-on-year. The EBITDA margin held steady at 7.9%, indicating operational stability. Profit After Tax (PAT) for FY26 was ₹1.0 crore, translating to a PAT margin of 0.8%, significantly lower than the 3.0% margin in FY25. This drop was also attributed to strategic investments in subsidiaries.
Subsidiary Performance and Future Outlook
During FY26, the company’s subsidiaries played a crucial role in strengthening the group’s growth platform. Vital Synthesis Limited commenced commercial operations in Q3 FY26 and experienced a positive customer response, with expectations of gradual scale-up. Vital Alkoxides Private Limited achieved strong business momentum, recording a 63% year-on-year revenue growth. Management remains optimistic about the future growth prospects and strategic contributions of both subsidiaries.
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Vipul Bhatt, Chairman and Managing Director of Vital Chemtech Limited, said: ‘In FY26, Vital Chemtech focused on strengthening its business foundation through strategic investments, operational improvements, and expansion across specialty chemical segments. Despite challenging global market conditions, the company demonstrated resilience with stable revenue performance and improved operational efficiencies during Q4 FY26. During the year, the company continued to invest in its subsidiaries, Vital Synthesis Limited and Vital Alkoxides Private Limited, with a long-term vision of expanding its presence in high-growth specialty chemical markets. While these investments impacted short-term profitability, they are expected to strengthen the group’s growth platform, diversification strategy, and future earnings potential. The company remains focused on improving capacity utilization, optimizing product mix, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding its portfolio of value-added specialty chemical products. Backed by its integrated manufacturing facility at Dahej and growing capabilities across the group, Vital Chemtech remains well-positioned to capitalize on long-term opportunities across domestic and export markets.’
