JTL gains 16.9% over three months and trades near its 52-week highs. The PEG stands at 6.15 — severely stretched. Any earnings miss could trigger a sharp de-rating. Thin margins at 5.0% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. Buyers show up with 1.5x the volume of sellers. Moreover, they dominated on 16 of recent sessions versus 14 for sellers — a healthy accumulation pattern. The stock holds up despite 11.3% revenue growth and a PEG of 6.15. That could signal an early turnaround. Alternatively, index flows simply support the price. Watch whether analysts revise estimates upward — that is the real signal. Paradeep moves sideways over three months, with neither buyers nor sellers taking control. The PEG of 0.29 is extremely low. Either the market misses the growth story, or there is a catch worth investigating. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. The stock holds at 58% of its 52-week range with RSI at 44. In other words, neither side has a clear edge right now. Revenue grows at 28.8% and profits at 48.5%. The business is in good shape. Moreover, a stock that does not move despite strong fundamentals often offers better value than one already priced for perfection. Check Fundamentals of Paradeep Phosphates Limited.

Ambuja Cements Limited Ambujacem FY27 Expansion

Ambuja Cements Limited, part of the Adani Portfolio and one of India’s leading building materials solutions providers, has firmed up its next phase of expansion, with new greenfield and brownfield projects planned to add ~30 MTPA of cement capacity across key markets. The programme will expand its manufacturing network across the high growth markets in East, West and North, building on its current 113.5 MTPA pan-India cement capacity across 24 integrated plants and 24 grinding units.

Expansion Details

The expansion includes new grinding capacities of ~15.5 MTPA in West Cluster, 11.6 MTPA in East Cluster and 2.9 MTPA in North Cluster. The new capacities will be located in Assam, Bihar, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The programme also includes new clinker capacity in East cluster at Umrangso (4 MTPA) in Assam, West cluster at Maratha (4 MTPA) and Mundra (2.3 MTPA), strengthening the upstream network required to support the expanded grinding footprint.

Future Outlook

Mr. Vinod Bahety, CEO – Cement Business, Adani Group, said, “Our next phase of expansion is focused on quality of growth and creating a more balanced manufacturing network. By strengthening the link between clinker and grinding capacity and expanding closer to the high growth potential key markets, we are building greater flexibility into the network. As we scale, our focus is on combining market reach with logistics and cost efficiencies so that every capacity addition strengthens the competitiveness of the overall business.”

The new programme builds on capacity expansion already under execution. During H1 FY27, the Company added 4.6 MTPA through the 1.2 MTPA brownfield expansion at Dahej in Gujarat, the new 2.4 MTPA Salai Banwa Grinding Unit in Uttar Pradesh and a 1.0 MTPA brownfield expansion at Kalamboli in Maharashtra, taking overall cement capacity to 113.5 MTPA. The near-term pipeline will further strengthen this base, with another 3.2 MTPA across Bathinda GU (1.2 MTPA) in Punjab (North cluster), Jodhpur Penna IU (2 MTPA) in Rajasthan, stabilised and expected to ramp up in H2 FY’27. In addition, the Warisaliganj GU (2.4 MTPA) in Bihar (East Cluster) will be commissioned in H2 FY’27. The Company’s total capacity is expected to reach 119 MTPA by end of March 2027.

Ambuja trades in the lower quarter of its 52-week range. The PEG of 0.65 signals undervaluation relative to growth. It is a potential re-rating candidate. Not a single revenue dip or loss quarter in five years — this is a business built to last through cycles. The stock gains 0.5% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. Revenue grows at 8.9% and profits at 34.6% CAGR, with D/E of 0.01. Meanwhile, the stock dips 6.3% in three months without any fundamental deterioration. Consequently, the stock quietly becomes cheaper relative to earnings power. Sarda Energy & Minerals Limited Sardaen Q2 FY27 Ebitda

Sarda Energy & Minerals Limited (BSE: 504614) (NSE: SARDAEN) announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended 30th September, 2026. Despite planned maintenance shutdowns, the company delivered resilient performance in H1 FY27 achieving its highest-ever half-yearly EBITDA. EBITDA stood at ₹1,326 crore, up 4% YoY, while PAT reached ₹799 crore, up 5% YoY.

EBITDA Steady at ₹564 Crore

For Q2 FY27, EBITDA remained steady at ₹564 crore, down 3% YoY. The performance was impacted by the planned shutdown of a 300 MW unit at the 600 MW Thermal Power Plant for 47 days and the replacement of a 30 MW turbine at the steel plant, which resumed operation in August 2026.

Energy Remains Key Earnings Contributor

Energy continued to be the key earnings contributor, accounting for more than 75% of EBITDA in H1. The pellet plant achieved a record-high half-yearly production at 4,29,059 MT. The mining portfolio expanded with the foray into manganese ore mining; Sarda Metals and Alloys Limited bagged the Avagudem Manganese Block in Andhra Pradesh.

Commenting on the results, Mr. Pankaj Sarda, Managing Director, said: “Despite the planned operational shutdowns at some of our facilities, we delivered a resilient performance during H1 FY27 achieving our highest-ever half-yearly EBITDA. This reflects the inherent strength of our underlying businesses, the stability of our earnings profile, and the benefits of our integrated operating model. Our entry into manganese ore mining marks an important strategic milestone, with the successful bid for the Avagudem block in Andhra Pradesh. This strategic move will strengthen backward integration, enhance raw material security, and improve cost competitiveness, supporting higher profitability in our ferro alloys business. Our expansion plans across energy and mining remain on track, supported by a strong balance sheet and disciplined capital allocation. Going forward, we remain focused on timely execution, improving asset utilization, and unlocking greater operational synergies across our integrated businesses to drive sustainable long-term growth and value creation.”
