JTL INDUSTRIES LIMITED (NSE: JTLIND) has secured a significant Rs. 27 crore order for the supply of galvanized iron (G.I.) pipes. This order, worth approximately Rs. 26.7 crore, is for the supply of around 3,425 MT of G.I. pipes for water supply and distribution projects undertaken by the Jal Shakti Vibhag, Government of Himachal Pradesh. This development underscores JTL’s expanding presence in the water infrastructure segment and its ability to meet large-scale institutional and government requirements.

Growing Presence in Water Infrastructure

India’s increasing investments in water infrastructure and distribution networks present significant opportunities for the steel pipes industry. With this order, JTL remains well-positioned to participate in these opportunities and support infrastructure development initiatives across the country. The order further strengthens revenue visibility and reinforces JTL’s position as a reliable supplier of steel pipe products for infrastructure-focused developments.

Commitment to Quality and Standards

Commenting on the development, Mr. Madan Mohan, Managing Director of JTL Industries, said: “This order is an important addition to our order book and reflects our focus on supplying steel pipe products for infrastructure development and our ability to meet the requirements of large-scale projects. Water infrastructure continues to be a major driver of demand for steel pipes in India. These certifications support JTL’s presence across a wide range of infrastructure and industrial applications in both domestic and international markets.

JTL gains 36.3% over three months and trades near its 52-week highs. The PEG stands at 9.47 — severely stretched. Any earnings miss could trigger a sharp de-rating. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. The stock gives back 8.8% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. Revenue grows at 11.3% CAGR and the PEG stands at 9.47. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Furthermore, flat price action adds no technical catalyst. A lower price or faster revenue growth would improve the odds. Vardhman Special Steels Limited (VSSL) has announced its unaudited financial results for the half year ended 30th September, 2026, showing significant growth across key metrics. The company’s revenue from operations reached Rs. 1,086.06 crore, up 25.41% year-on-year (YoY), driven by a 16.7% increase in sales volumes to 1,29,704 MT. The EBITDA surged 58.80% YoY to Rs. 152.15 crore, and the PAT jumped 72.02% to Rs. 93.68 crore.

Strong Performance in Sales and Profitability

Vardhman holds in the upper half of its 52-week range, a sign the market backs the stock. Thin margins at 7.9% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. The PEG of 2.97 makes it expensive versus peers. The premium needs earnings to catch up quickly. The stock trades at 76% of its 52-week range — near its best levels of the year. Clearly, the market pays a premium for this name. The stock rises 5.2% in three months on 0.6% revenue growth. As a result, the market gives it more credit than the fundamentals strictly justify. Watch the next quarterly results. Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) has taken a significant step towards promoting resource recovery and sustainable manufacturing by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Heavy Water Board (HWB) and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). This collaboration aims to recover nickel and cobalt from plant reverts, leveraging the expertise of all three organizations.

Strategic Partnership

The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation among MIDHANI, HWB, and BARC to explore and implement efficient processes for recovering valuable metals from plant reverts. This initiative seeks to maximize resource utilization, reduce dependence on primary mineral resources, and promote environmentally responsible metal production.

Critical Metals Recovery

Cobalt and nickel are critical metals widely used in advanced battery technologies, electric vehicles, stainless steels, superalloys, and other strategic industrial applications. By recovering these metals from plant reverts, the collaboration aims to strengthen domestic supply chains, improve resource efficiency, and support the growing demand for critical metals.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. S V S Narayana Murty, Chairman & Managing Director, MIDHANI, said, “The signing of this MoU marks an important milestone in our efforts to promote the recovery of critical metals from secondary resources. Through this collaboration, we aim to combine our strengths and develop viable, sustainable, and commercially competitive solutions for the production of cobalt and nickel from plant reverts.”

ACC falls 13.8% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG of 0.24 is extremely low. Either the market misses the growth story, or there is a catch worth investigating. Thin margins at 7.6% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. The stock sits at 7% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows.
