Swiggy's Q4 Results Show 22.6% YoY GOV Growth - TradeAlone

Swiggy’s food delivery business achieved a remarkable 22.6% year-over-year (YoY) growth in Gross Order Value (GOV) for Q4 2026, surpassing INR 1,000 crore in adjusted EBITDA. This strong performance highlights the company’s resilience and growth potential in a competitive market.

Strong Food Delivery Performance

The food delivery segment saw a significant surge, with GOV growing by 22.6% YoY to INR 9,005 crore. The number of Monthly Transaction Units (MTUs) also grew by 21% YoY to reach 18.3 million. This growth is attributed to focused launches across the ‘selection-speed-affordability’ framework, which has driven user engagement and improved margins.

Out-of-Home and Instamart Growth

Out of Home (OOH) GOV grew by 43% YoY, marking its first full year of profitability. Instamart, Swiggy’s quick commerce platform, posted a 68.8% YoY GOV growth to INR 7,881 crore. Despite a quarterly loss of INR 858 crore, the segment’s contribution margin improved by 65 basis points QoQ to -1.8%.

Looking Ahead

Sriharsha Majety, MD & Group CEO of Swiggy, emphasized the company’s focus on anticipating consumer needs and improving unit economics. With a strong balance sheet, Swiggy remains on track for contribution margin breakeven in line with its guidance for FY27.

Swiggy falls 12.7% over three months and has not found a floor yet. Margins at 21.0% are impressive but need to be sustained — any compression would be a red flag. 4 loss quarters over five years is a serious red flag — earnings quality is poor and recovery is not guaranteed. The stock gains 3.8% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. Revenue grows at 39.3% yet the PEG reaches 99.00 — expensive for that growth. Furthermore, the stock drops 12.7% in three months. Neither value nor momentum supports this setup. It needs an earnings beat or a price reset first. Check Fundamentals of Swiggy Limited.

Le drops 27.7% over three months and trades near its 52-week lows. Thin margins at 6.7% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. Revenue grows at 34.8% and profits at 49.4% CAGR. Both numbers are exceptional. The stock sits at 3% of its 52-week range, close to annual lows. Historically, value investors build positions at these levels — though cheap stocks can stay cheap. Revenue grows at 34.8% and profits at 49.4% CAGR, with D/E of 0.06. Meanwhile, the stock dips 27.7% in three months without any fundamental deterioration. Consequently, the stock quietly becomes cheaper relative to earnings power. For long-term investors, that is a feature. Check Fundamentals of Le Travenues Technology Limited.

Indo gains 94.8% over three months and trades near its 52-week highs. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. No meaningful dividend — total return is entirely dependent on capital appreciation. Buyers show up with 1.5x the volume of sellers. Moreover, they dominated on 18 of recent sessions versus 12 for sellers — a healthy accumulation pattern. The stock rises 94.8% in three months on 6.1% revenue growth. As a result, the market gives it more credit than the fundamentals strictly justify. Watch the next quarterly results. If growth accelerates, the move makes sense. If not, expect some gains to unwind. Check Fundamentals of Indo Rama Synthetics (India) Limited.
