Tata Motors TMCV Price Increase July 2026

Tata Motors Limited (NSE: TMCV) announced a price increase of up to 2.5% across its commercial vehicle range, effective July 1, 2026. The move aims to partially offset the impact of rising commodity prices and other input costs. The increase will vary depending on the model and variant.

Tata moves sideways over three months, with neither buyers nor sellers taking control. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. Revenue contracts at -56.0% CAGR. That signals structural headwinds, not a short-term blip. The stock gains 6.1% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. Revenue grows at -56.0% CAGR and the PEG stands at 99.00. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Furthermore, flat price action adds no technical catalyst. A lower price or faster revenue growth would improve the odds. Check Fundamentals of Tata Motors Limited.

Hyundai moves sideways over three months, with neither buyers nor sellers taking control. The PEG stands at 6.65 — severely stretched. Any earnings miss could trigger a sharp de-rating. Thin margins at 7.0% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. The stock holds at 41% of its 52-week range with RSI at 42. In other words, neither side has a clear edge right now. Revenue grows at 5.5% and the stock moves sideways over three months. Neither side makes a strong case. The next earnings print will likely break this stock out of its current range. Check Fundamentals of Hyundai Motor India Limited.

Atul falls 12.5% over three months and has not found a floor yet. The PEG of 0.21 is extremely low. Either the market misses the growth story, or there is a catch worth investigating. Thin margins at 5.3% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. Sellers drive 1.5x the volume of buyers. Furthermore, they controlled 18 of recent sessions versus 12 for buyers — a clear distribution signal. Revenue grows at 17.1% and profits at 119.4% CAGR — a genuinely strong business. Nevertheless, the stock drops 12.5% in three months. The market sells the stock, not the story. Watch whether that changes at the next earnings. Check Fundamentals of Atul Auto Limited.
