Allied posts a 7.9% three-month gain, but softens in the last few weeks. The PEG of 0.17 is extremely low. Either the market misses the growth story, or there is a catch worth investigating. Thin margins at 5.8% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. The stock gives back 2.9% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. Both the business and the stock move in the right direction. Revenue grows at 7.4%, profits at 422.6%, and the PEG sits at 0.17 — below its growth rate. That combination is rare. Check Fundamentals of Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited.

Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited ABDL Q4 FY26 Results

Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABDL) has announced the commencement of commercial operations at its new malt distillery in Rangapur, Telangana. This greenfield facility, with an approved manufacturing capacity of approximately 4.4 million barrels per annum, marks a significant milestone in expanding ABDL’s domestic production footprint and vertically integrating its core supply chain.

Enhanced Production Capabilities

The new malt distillery will enable ABDL to manufacture malt spirit in-house, providing the company greater control over the important input used in its whisky portfolio. This will help ensure consistent quality and provide a steady, dependable supply of malt spirit as production scales up.

Strategic Backward Integration

Commenting on the commencement, Amar Sinha, Managing Director, ABDL, said, “The start of operations at the malt distillery is an important step at ABDL, this underscores ABDL’s disciplined approach to backward integration and process excellence. Moving critical production inputs in-house enhances operating margins, insulates core brands from market fluctuations, and establishes a robust foundation for next-generation spirits development.”

Rangapur has evolved into the operational anchor of ABDL’s growth story. With grain distillation, PET bottle production, bottling operations, and now with malt distillation, ABDL has created an end-to-end, integrated manufacturing hub. This complete self-reliance provides total control over cost, quality, and supply continuity, while giving the teams the agility and scale to innovate and premiumize with speed.

Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited ABDL October 2026

Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABDL) has announced the commencement of commercial operations at its newly established bottling facility in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The unit, with an initial capacity of 6 million cases per annum, marks a significant milestone in ABDL’s integrated manufacturing programme to serve the state’s growing spirits demand.

Strategic Investment

The facility forms part of the assets acquired in January 2026 for approximately ₹70 crore and subsequently upgraded by ABDL with an investment of around ₹40 crore. The commissioning of this facility enhances the company’s bottling capacity in Uttar Pradesh and is expected to improve service efficiency while delivering cost benefits through increased in-house bottling and savings on franchise fees.

Growth in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh, one of India’s fastest-growing spirits markets, is central to ABDL’s growth plans. The company has announced an investment of over ₹600 crore in the state, including the acquisition and upgradation of the Moradabad unit and the development of an integrated facility comprising a dual-mode distillery and additional bottling capacity.

Future Prospects

Commenting on the development, Mr. Amar Sinha, Managing Director, ABDL, said, “The commencement of operations at the Moradabad unit is an important step in strengthening ABDL’s manufacturing base and presence in Uttar Pradesh. Backward integration is a key pillar of our strategy, enabling greater control over the value chain, improved supply chain agility and stronger cost efficiencies. The unit will support our growth in the state and provide a platform for further integration, including increased captive ENA capacity. Uttar Pradesh is central to this backward integration journey. The state’s progressive excise policy framework and conducive investment environment provide a strong foundation for the industry’s long-term growth and bolster the state’s economy.”
