CreditAccess Grameen Limited (NSE: CREDITACC) gains 5% intraday, nears resistance
CreditAccess Grameen Limited (NSE: CREDITACC) stock moves up 5% intraday, approaching resistance at ₹1600.2.
CREDITACCESS GRAMEEN LIMITED (CREDITACC) gained +5% to near resistance at ₹1600.2 on the NSE on 27 Jul 2026. The stock is approaching resistance but has not cleared it, despite being 3.7% above the resistance level of ₹1541. This move comes as the company navigates a mixed market environment within the Financial Services > Credit Services sector. While the stock is nearing resistance, it remains slightly above support at ₹1602, indicating a tight trading range.

The stock is extended, trading 8% above its 50-DMA of ₹1401.0, suggesting a stretched move. The 50-DMA is above the 200-DMA of ₹1320.5, indicating a bullish trend. Snapshot: ₹1,600.20 on 2026-07-27 (chart frozen at publication)
Fundamentals & business context
Fundamentally, CREDITACC’s PE of 31.3, coupled with a profit margin of 32.0% and a robust revenue CAGR of 20.9%, suggests that the market is pricing in strong growth expectations. However, the profit CAGR of -2.0% over the past five years indicates some pressure on earnings growth. The 18.1% institutional ownership reflects a cautious yet interested stance from smart money, possibly awaiting clearer signs of a turnaround in profit growth. There was no specific NSE catalyst today, but the overall market sentiment and technical setup likely contributed to the intraday gain.
Algorithmic scorecard
The algorithmic scorecard reflects a balanced view of CREDITACC, with an overall score of 75. The technical strength is evident in the bullish trend, with the 50-day average above the 200-day average and strong bullish sentiment over the last 30 days. The stock’s low volatility, indicated by a beta of 0.20, adds to its appeal. On the fundamental side, the excellent revenue growth consistency and very low debt levels are strong positives. However, the declining profit CAGR and negligible dividend yield are areas of concern, suggesting that while the company has strong revenue growth, it needs to improve profitability to fully justify its valuation.
Company outlook
Management provided forward-looking guidance for FY27, projecting AUM growth of 20.0-25.0% and NIM in the range of 12.8-13.2%. The cost-to-income ratio is expected to be between 33.0-35.0%, with credit cost guidance at 3.0-4.0%. ROA is anticipated to be 4.0-4.8%, and ROE is expected to range from 16.0-20.0%. Microfinance growth is projected at 10-12%, with the remainder coming from the non-MFI portfolio. Retail finance is expected to constitute 24-25% of the portfolio by the end of FY27. Mortgage loans are expected to reach breakeven as the book grows to INR 800 Crore to INR 1,000 Crore. The company plans to strengthen its acquisition engines through group-based sourcing, individual lending, and digital initiatives via the Grameen Mahi app.
