Marksans Pharma Limited MARKSANS gains 6% intraday despite breakdown

Marksans Pharma Limited (MARKSANS) bounced intraday by +6% to ₹261.7 on the NSE today, despite the stock remaining in a breakdown phase on its 6-month trendline. The move appears to be a technical recovery rather than a fundamental shift, as there are no new filings or news releases. Marksans Pharma, a mid-cap player in the healthcare sector under drug manufacturers, continues to navigate a challenging market environment. Today’s bounce does not align with broader sector momentum but seems to be a company-specific intraday recovery.

Technical setup — trendlines & DMA

The current trendline structure for Marksans Pharma shows a breakdown, with the 6-month support floor at ₹279.92, which is 6.96% above today’s price. Algorithmic scorecard

The overall algorithmic scorecard of 68 reflects a balanced but slightly tilted view, with strong fundamental metrics offset by weaker technical indicators. Two of the strongest signals are the revenue CAGR of 16.8% and the profit CAGR of 16.2%, indicating robust growth over the past five years. Additionally, the company’s very low debt level, with a D/E ratio of 0.13, points to excellent financial health. On the weaker side, the negligible dividend yield of 0.37% offers little income to investors, and the stock’s breakdown below support levels suggests underlying weakness that needs to be watched.

Corona Remedies Limited (corona) Anvisa GMP Certification Bhayla

CORONA Remedies Limited (CORONA) has received Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from Brazil’s National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) for its Bhayla manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad. This certification covers both Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) and Women’s Hormone production lines. This milestone further strengthens CORONA’s manufacturing credentials and reaffirms its commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Reaffirming the Philosophy of ‘One World, One Quality’

While India will remain the company’s primary market, contributing over 96% of its revenue, the ANVISA GMP certification further strengthens CORONA’s manufacturing credentials. This marks CORONA’s third major GMP accreditation, building on its EU-GMP approvals for the Women’s Hormone and OSD facilities and its EAEU-GMP certification for the OSD facility. Brazil represents one of the largest pharmaceutical markets in Latin America, with an estimated market size of USD 44 billion, presenting opportunities for pharmaceutical manufacturers with strong quality systems and regulatory capabilities.

Commitment to Quality and Compliance

Together, these recognitions reflect the company’s continued focus on strengthening quality systems, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across its manufacturing operations. Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Viral Sitwala, Executive Director, CORONA Remedies Limited, said: “Quality has always been central to the way we work at CORONA Remedies. Our philosophy of ‘One World, One Quality’ reflects our belief that the standards we follow must remain consistent and uncompromised. The ANVISA GMP certification for our Bhayla manufacturing facility is an important recognition of the systems, discipline, and collective efforts that go into maintaining these standards. While India remains our primary market and the focus of our business, such accreditations further strengthen our manufacturing credentials and reaffirm our commitment to quality and compliance. We will continue to strengthen our capabilities and uphold the quality standards that guide everything we do.”

CORONA holds in the upper half of its 52-week range, a sign the market backs the stock. The PEG of 2.07 is on the high side. However, it is acceptable for a quality compounder with a strong moat. The business compounds revenue at 16.6% and profits at 29.7% CAGR. That is strong double-digit growth on both counts. Buyers show up with 2.0x the volume of sellers. Moreover, they dominated on 17 of recent sessions versus 13 for sellers — a healthy accumulation pattern. The business grows revenue at 16.6% and profits at 29.7%, with D/E of 0.14. The stock reflects that strength. Moreover, when fundamentals and price action align, the PEG of 2.07 premium is usually justified. Check Fundamentals of CORONA Remedies Limited.

Kopran gains 33.2% over three months and trades near its 52-week highs. Sai Parenterals Limited Acquires 60% Stake in Prathyak Laboratories for Rs. 15 Crore

Sai Parenterals Limited (SAIPARENT) acquires 60% stake in Prathyak Laboratories for Rs. 15 crore, enhancing its R&D capabilities.

Sai Parenterals Limited Saiparent Acquisition Prathyak Laboratories October 2026

Sai Parenterals Limited (NSE: SAIPARENT) has completed the acquisition of a 60% equity stake in Prathyak Laboratories Private Limited for Rs. 15 crore, funded from the unutilised net proceeds of the Company’s initial public offering. This acquisition replaces the greenfield research centre the Company had originally intended to build. Prathyak Laboratories, now renamed as Sai Prathyak Laboratories Private Limited, has been in operation for three years and brings 28 research scientists and a development pipeline of 150 SKUs across 86 molecules. The acquisition provides Sai Parenterals with immediate access to a fully operational R&D facility, significantly accelerating its development work and reducing the time and effort required to assemble a scientific team.

Strategic Benefits of the Acquisition

The acquisition of an operating R&D platform rather than constructing one allows development work to begin immediately. It removes the construction cycle and, more significantly, the considerably harder task of assembling a scientific team of this calibre, which would have slowed the pace of a greenfield build. Prathyak’s development work supports the Company’s injectable programme directly. Formulations developed at this R&D centre can be taken into commercial production as the Company’s injectable capacity is expanded and upgraded, shortening the path from development to supply in regulated and semi-regulated markets.

Future Plans and Expansion

The residual 40% may be acquired through a Right of First Refusal (ROFR) at the same valuation as the present transaction, to be funded from internal accruals, taking Prathyak to a wholly owned position. Commenting on the acquisition, Mr. Anil Kumar Karusala, Chairman and Managing Director, Sai Parenterals Limited, said: ‘Building a research centre from the ground up would have cost us a construction cycle and, far more significantly, the time taken to assemble a scientific team. Prathyak gives us both on day one — 28 research scientists who have worked together for three years, and a pipeline of 150 SKUs across 86 molecules in exactly the complex injectable and oncology areas we are building towards. The value of this acquisition lies in what it enables elsewhere in the Group. Work already completed at this R&D centre can be taken into production as our injectable capacity is expanded. The same R&D team will also develop the new products we are required to launch each year under our Australian agreements. We have acquired 60% today and will move to full ownership at the same valuation. This is a further step in the growth plan we set out at the time of our listing: deeper integration across our own value chain, a faster route from development to commercial supply, and capability built inside the Group instead of with third parties. We will continue to pursue opportunities of this kind, organic and inorganic, that strengthen the platform and create lasting value for our stakeholders.’

Sai falls 15.3% over three months and has not found a floor yet. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. Revenue grows at 126.1% and profits at 111.8% CAGR. Both numbers are exceptional. The stock gains 0.9% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. Both the business and the stock move in the right direction. Revenue grows at 126.1%, profits at 111.8%, and the PEG sits at 0.99 — below its growth rate. That combination is rare. Check Fundamentals of Sai Parenterals Limited.
