Nelcast Limited Q1 FY27: Steady Performance Supported by Healthy Demand and New Product Launches
Nelcast Limited (NELCAST) reports Q1 FY27 results with steady performance, healthy demand, and new product launches.
Nelcast Limited (NSE: NELCAST) announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company delivered a steady performance in Q1 FY27, supported by healthy demand across its key end markets. The tractor and commercial vehicle segments continued to witness strong momentum, while exports recorded a sequential improvement during the quarter.
Financial Highlights
Total revenue stood at Rs. 345.4 Crores in Q1 FY27 against Rs. 336.0 Crores in Q1 FY26, marking a marginal growth of 2.8%. EBITDA stood at Rs. 20.1 Crores, with a margin of 5.8%, impacted by an increase in input costs amid macro headwinds. PAT stood at Rs. 5.1 Crores in Q1 FY27.
Sector-wise Revenue Outlook for FY27
Export recovery, new product ramp-up, and an improving product mix support sustained growth and margin expansion. Profitability during the quarter was impacted by temporary factors, including elevated raw material costs arising from geopolitical developments and labour availability constraints across the industry. The company has initiated price revision discussions with customers, and the benefits of these measures are expected to be realized gradually over the coming quarters.
A key highlight for us is the commencement of production for new products during Q2 FY27. These programs are expected to progressively ramp up through the year and contribute meaningfully to volumes and revenues by the second half. In parallel, we expect capacity utilization to improve as demand strengthens and new product volumes scale up. Beyond the near-term operating environment, we believe the company is at an important inflection point, positioning Nelcast to create substantially greater value in the years ahead.

In other words, neither side has a clear edge right now. The stock rises 16.5% in three months on 10.4% revenue growth. As a result, the market gives it more credit than the fundamentals strictly justify. Watch the next quarterly results. If growth accelerates, the move makes sense. If not, expect some gains to unwind. Check Fundamentals of Nelcast Limited.
