Infosys Limited NSE INFY breaks below support

Infosys Limited (INFY) breaks below support, falling 6% to close at 1054.2 on the NSE today. The stock has now dropped below its 6-month support trendline, signaling a breakdown after a period of consolidation. This move is technical, with no new filings or news releases. Infosys, a leading player in the technology sector, specifically within information technology services, has seen its stock performance diverge from broader sector trends, indicating company-specific pressures rather than sector-wide momentum.

Technical setup — trendlines & DMA

Currently, Infosys is trading below its 6-month support trendline, which ends at 1114.29, marking a 5.70% drop from this level. Resistance is noted at 1206.18, where the stock is 14.42% below. The 50-day moving average (DMA) stands at 1191.0, and the 200-DMA is at 1412.6, both above the current price, indicating a bearish trend. The stock is also positioned in the lower third of its 52-week range, suggesting that much of the downside may already be priced in, though the distance from the 52-week high indicates significant room for further decline if negative sentiment persists.

Fundamentals & business context

With a PE ratio of 13.8 and profit margins at 16.4%, Infosys’s valuation appears to reflect its steady but slow revenue growth of 3.4% CAGR over the past five years. The market seems to be pricing in a degree of stability rather than aggressive growth, given the current earnings and growth rates. Institutional ownership at 52.6% suggests that despite the recent technical downturn, there is still a level of confidence among larger investors in the company’s long-term prospects. There were no new filings or catalysts from the NSE today to explain the move.

Algorithmic scorecard

The overall algorithmic scorecard reflects a balanced view of Infosys, with strengths in dividend yield and debt levels, offset by weaknesses in revenue growth and valuation relative to growth. The strong dividend yield of 4.37% and very low debt-to-equity ratio of 0.09 indicate financial health and a commitment to returning value to shareholders. Conversely, the slow revenue CAGR of 3.4% and an overvalued PEG ratio of 3.83 signal potential risks in terms of growth expectations and valuation. These contrasting signals suggest that while Infosys maintains financial stability and income generation, investors should be cautious about its growth trajectory and current valuation.

Company outlook

For fiscal year 2027, Infosys has guided for revenue growth in the range of 1.5% to 3.5% in constant currency terms, with an operating margin target of 20% to 22%. This guidance includes the Stratus acquisition but excludes the Versent JV and Optimum Healthcare acquisitions. The company is navigating challenges such as lower revenue from a large European manufacturing client and a reduction in onsite mix, which are factored into the guidance. Wage hikes, productivity pass-throughs, and AI investments are expected to impact margins, though this will be offset by cost-saving initiatives like Project Maximus. Infosys remains focused on growing its AI services, securing large deals, and forming AI partnerships to drive performance. The company plans to hire around 20,000 college graduates for FY27 and is exploring outcome-based contracts and AI-driven service models to enhance its offerings and competitiveness.

LTM posts a 9.3% three-month gain, but softens in the last few weeks. The PEG stands at 5.36 — severely stretched. Any earnings miss could trigger a sharp de-rating. Revenue consistency is the one bright spot — zero dips in five years shows operational resilience. The stock gives back 11.5% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. Revenue grows at 8.4% and the stock moves sideways over three months. Neither side makes a strong case. The next earnings print will likely break this stock out of its current range. Check Fundamentals of LTM Limited.

Coforge Limited NSE Coforge Agenticops Expansion

Coforge Limited (NSE: COFORGE) announced on September 22, 2026, its continued momentum in expanding AgenticOps capabilities to power enterprise autonomy. This expansion addresses growing client demand for AI infrastructure and operations models designed specifically for AI agents and autonomous systems. As organizations transition from AI pilots to production deployments, agent fleets expose resiliency, security, and control gaps that conventional operating models were never designed to handle.

Enhanced Governance and Security

AgenticOps within the Coforge Nuuron enablement suite is purpose-built to close these gaps, providing centralized controls and continuous monitoring to detect and correct agent drift. It embeds zero-trust security to guard against emerging attack vectors and offers flexibility to integrate with existing tools for reliable, scalable orchestration. With built-in data security and sovereignty controls, real-time observability, and intelligent token optimization, AgenticOps gives enterprises the confidence and control to move agentic AI from pilot to production.

Measurable Outcomes

Coforge is working with more than 160 clients to enable their AgenticOps journey. Early client deployments have delivered measurable outcomes, including significantly faster threat remediation, improved operational resilience, and tighter control of token spend. By pairing autonomy with governance and accountability, Coforge is helping clients move AI from experimentation into business-critical operations.

Persistent Systems Limited Persistent Q4 FY26 Takeover Offer

Persistent Systems Limited (PERSISTENT) has successfully completed its voluntary public takeover offer for Nagarro SE (Nagarro), securing 83.25% of Nagarro’s outstanding share capital. The acceptance period expired on September 17, 2026, with 7,568,145 Nagarro shares tendered into the offer, representing approximately 61.15% of Nagarro’s total share capital and voting rights.

Successful Offer Completion

An additional acceptance period will run from September 23, 2026, to October 6, 2026, allowing remaining Nagarro shareholders to tender their shares for EUR 81.00 per share in cash. Persistent already holds approximately 22.10% of Nagarro shares from a share purchase agreement with Lantano Beteiligungen GmbH. The minimum acceptance threshold of 50% plus one share has been exceeded, confirming the strategic logic behind combining Persistent and Nagarro.

Forward-Looking Steps

Sandeep Kalra, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Persistent Systems Limited, stated, “We have offered Nagarro shareholders an attractive opportunity to realize full and immediate value. The success of the offer confirms its appeal and the strategic logic behind combining Persistent and Nagarro. We now look forward to completing the remaining steps toward closing, so we may start building the global AI-led digital engineering leader we envisioned together.” Persistent intends to pursue a delisting of Nagarro shares from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as soon as practicable and legally feasible, with the transaction expected to close by the end of Q1 CY27.

As a result of the delisting, Nagarro shares may face reduced liquidity. Persistent expects the transaction to close by the end of Q1 CY27, subject to only a limited number of outstanding regulatory approvals. For more details, visit www.galaxy-offer.com.
