Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Limited (kmew) Completes Acquisition of TSHD River Pearl 48
Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd. (KMEW) acquires River Pearl 48, a TSHD, at ₹250 crore to bolster large-scale dredging projects.
Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Limited (KMEW) has completed the acquisition of River Pearl 48, a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD), at a capital cost of approximately ₹250 crore. This acquisition strengthens KMEW’s fleet and execution capacity for large-scale maintenance dredging projects. The River Pearl 48 is a self-propelled vessel that dredges while moving slowly over the seabed.
Vessel Specifications
The vessel boasts a maximum dredging depth of 36 meters and has the potential to dredge approximately 8–10 million cubic meters per annum, subject to project conditions and deployment. It is expected to support KMEW’s recently awarded three-year maintenance dredging contract at New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA), involving principal post-monsoon dredging of 15.9 million cubic meters over three years.
Strategic Deployment
River Pearl 48 is scheduled for immediate deployment at New Mangalore Port, in time to support the commencement of the maintenance dredging contract on 15 November 2026. The vessel’s Indian ownership, flag, classification, and crew align with the Government of India’s objective of promoting Indian-owned and Indian-flagged vessels. This acquisition falls within the ambit of the Right of First Refusal (RoFR) framework, supporting the preference for Indian vessels in eligible procurement processes.
Commenting on the successful acquisition, Mr. Sujay Kewalramani, CEO of Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd, said that completing the acquisition of River Pearl 48 is a major milestone in KMEW’s growth journey. With a capital investment of approximately ₹250 crore and the potential to dredge 8–10 million cubic meters annually, the vessel strengthens our capacity to execute large-scale maintenance dredging assignments. Its immediate deployment at New Mangalore Port will support our delivery commitments, while its capabilities create a platform for KMEW to explore opportunities in the defence dredging market. The vessel’s Indian flag, classification with the Indian Register of Shipping and 100% Indian crew reflect our commitment to strengthening India’s maritime capabilities.
As KMEW grows, we will continue to train and employ Indian nationals, supporting the development of skilled talent in the maritime sector.

Fundamental & Technical Analysis of V.S.T Tillers Tractors Limited
V.S.T Tillers Tractors Limited belongs to the Industrials › Farm & Heavy Construction Machinery sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
V.S.T trades in the lower quarter of its 52-week range. The PEG stands at 7.91 — severely stretched. Any earnings miss could trigger a sharp de-rating. Thin margins at 8.6% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. The stock gains 6.7% in the last month, recovering from the three-month slide. However, it is too early to call this a confirmed reversal. Revenue grows at 7.2% CAGR — a respectable pace. However, the stock drops 5.8% in three months without an obvious fundamental trigger. Sector-wide pressure or a valuation re-rating can persist for longer than expected. Therefore, there is no rush to step in. Check Fundamentals of V.S.T Tillers Tractors Limited.

Fundamental & Technical Analysis of Tijaria Polypipes Limited
Tijaria Polypipes Limited belongs to the Industrials › Building Products & Equipment sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
Tijaria posts a 36.4% three-month gain, but softens in the last few weeks. Razor-thin margins below 5% make profitability extremely vulnerable — this business needs scale or pricing power urgently. 5 loss quarters over five years is a serious red flag — earnings quality is poor and recovery is not guaranteed. The stock gives back 20.3% in the last month despite a positive three-month run. As a result, the earlier momentum appears to be fading. Revenue grows at 0.0% CAGR and the PEG stands at 99.00. The growth does not match the price the market asks. Furthermore, flat price action adds no technical catalyst. A lower price or faster revenue growth would improve the odds. Fundamental & Technical Analysis of SKF India (Industrial) Limited
SKF India (Industrial) Limited belongs to the Industrials › Tools & Accessories sector. Here’s a quick read on where the business and the stock stand today.
SKF moves sideways over three months, with neither buyers nor sellers taking control. The PEG of 0.75 signals undervaluation relative to growth. It is a potential re-rating candidate. Thin margins at 5.8% leave limited room for error — any demand softness or cost spike hits the bottom line hard. The stock holds at 42% of its 52-week range with RSI at 33. In other words, neither side has a clear edge right now. Revenue grows at 364.1% and profits at 79.4%. The business is in good shape. Moreover, a stock that does not move despite strong fundamentals often offers better value than one already priced for perfection. Check Fundamentals of SKF India (Industrial) Limited.
